Use of Leaves. (a) An employee will be granted Agency time for actual testing, traveling to and from the test site if such travel is required and for meeting with the Medical Review Officer if such meeting is necessary.

Use of Leaves upon expiration of injury leave An employee who has exhausted all available injury leave shall be entitled to take unused sick leave, compensatory time and vacation time prior to taking leave without pay.

The parties agree that Unit members who are unable to meet the expectations included in this MOU regarding distance learning, service work, and availability during contractual hours shall use any sick leave or personal necessity leave entitlement (including FFCRA emergency paid sick leave and expanded family & medical leave) that they may be eligible for consistent with law and the parties' collective bargaining agreement. The parties agree that all collectively bargained leave provisions will remain in full effect for the duration of the pandemic. Eligible unit members will also be entitled to any new COVID-19 federal and/or State leave benefits. On a case by case basis, unit members who are on an existing or scheduled approved paid leave who are able to fulfill the requirements of this MOU regarding distance learning and service may contact Human Resources to determine their eligibility to return to work.

Use of Leaves. Unless specified otherwise, leaves will be granted in one (1) day or half (1/2) day increments. When less than all required responsibilities are missed, the Association member shall take leave for one-half (1/2) day. When all required responsibilities are missed, a full day of leave must be taken. Required responsibilities include all items listed in Article 3.08 (Workweek Schedule). Unless specified, leave does not accumulate year to year.
