Leave Benefits. Paid leave is available to the Superintendent when the following specific conditions are met: (1) the Superintendent is currently employed by the District and (2) the paid leave day is taken on a day Superintendent would otherwise be expected to be at work.

Leave Benefits. Executive receives a total of One Hundred and Ninety-Two (192) hours of paid leave, which is earned at a rate of 8 hours per pay period. This time can be used for vacation or sick leave. Only Eighty (80) hours of accrued leave may be carried over to the next year. If Executive leaves the Employer, provided that he or she has been employed for at least six months, Executive will be paid for two-thirds of Executive's accrued leave balance. The remaining third is assumed to be sick leave and is not paid to the terminating Executive. Executive also is eligible for Bereavement, Military, and Maternity/Paternity leave as provided in the Employee Handbook.
Leave Benefits. The Human Resources Policies and Procedures Manual shall be used for administering Family and Medical Leave, Injury Leave, Voting Leave, Military Leave, Paid Volunteer Leave, and Court and Jury Leave. Employees are encouraged to review the current Human Resources Policies and Procedures Manual for complete information on these leave benefits.
Leave Benefits. The industrial accident or illness leave is to be in lieu of normal sick leave benefits. When entitlement to industrial accident or illness leave under this section has been exhausted, entitlement to other sick leave, vacation or other paid leave will be used. If, however, a unit member is still receiving temporary disability payments under the Worker’s Compensation laws of this State at the time of the exhaustion of the benefits under this Section, he/she shall be entitled to use only so much of his/her accumulated and available normal sick leave and vacation leave, which, when added to the Worker’s Compensation award, provides for a day’s pay at the regular rate of pay.
Leave Benefits. In the case of parenting and medical leaves taken pursuant to the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Employer shall make sufficient group health insurance contributions, as determined by the Greater Metropolitan Hotel Employers-Employees Health and Welfare Fund (“Fund”) to pay for the employee's insurance coverage for up to twelve (12) weeks of leave. The Fund shall make available group health insurance to employees at the employee's own expense for any portion of a parenting or medical leave in excess of twelve (12) weeks. In the case of other leaves which would otherwise result in loss of group health insurance coverage, the Fund shall make available group health insurance, to employees for the duration of the leave, at the employee's own expense, and otherwise consistent with the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (“COBRA”). Employees shall retain pre-leave seniority and shall accrue seniority during all authorized leaves. Failure to return to work promptly at the end of an authorized leave of absence, unless due to an act of God, shall result in complete loss of seniority rights. The Employer may attempt to recover the cost of medical premiums paid during a covered leave of absence should the employee fail to return to work as provided for under the Family and Medical Leave Act.
Leave Benefits. Employees on a Child Care Leave shall not have health benefits provided by the District, except those guaranteed by the Family Medical Leave Act of 1993. Employees on a Medical Leave shall receive health insurance for the first four (4) months of the leave. Employees on sick leave shall receive health insurance for the entire length of the leave. Employees on a leave for teacher incapacity shall have full health benefits for the entire length of the leave. Extended leave shall have no benefits. Sabbatical Leave shall have full health benefits.
Leave Benefits. Leave benefits shall be provided in accordance with the Leave Benefits Appendix as listed on Appendix “E” and Administrative Bulletin 12, as it may be amended.
