Contract Hours definition

Contract Hours means, in relation to Controlled Work, the time spent by you in hours undertaking Contract Work under and in accordance with this Contact;
Contract Hours means weekly hours of work, for full time employees the weekly contract hours are 36 hours and 15 minutes, for part time employees contract hours are pro-rata.
Contract Hours means the contract hours for a settlement period which shall be calculated by multiplying the employee’s weekly contract hours by twelve (ie the number of weeks in a settlement period). For full time employees the weekly contract hours are 35, and the daily contract hours are seven.

Examples of Contract Hours in a sentence

  • On commencement of this Schedule, Hourly Rate Employees will be advised of their Contract Hours per Fortnight.

  • Hours “banked” may be paid in subsequent months if the Employee wishes, or may be used to reduce the number of Contract Hours worked by the Employee in subsequent months.

  • If you are an Hourly Rate Employee who has accrued a negative balance of Banked Hours as at the date of commencement of operation of this Agreement, any future hours worked in excess of your Contract Hours will be offset against your negative Banked Hours balance until your negative Banked Hours balance reaches zero.

  • An employee cannot be directed to work less than the Minimum Daily Contract Hours on any normal working day.

  • Hours “banked” may be paid in subsequent pay periods if the Employee wishes, or may be used to reduce the number of Contract Hours worked in subsequent pay periods.


More Definitions of Contract Hours

Contract Hours means the hours stated in the Schedule.
Contract Hours for a full time Inspector, means one fifth of ordinary working hours as prescribed in this award and, for a part time Inspector, means the hours usually worked on the day.
