Test site. The test site shall comply with the provisions of Annex 3 of this UN Regulation.

Test site. The test site shall consist of a central section surrounded by a substantially flat test area. The measuring section shall be level; the test surface shall be dry and clean for all measurements. The test surface shall not be artificially cooled during or prior the testing. The test track shall be such that the conditions of a free sound field between the sound source and the microphone are attained to within 1 dB(A). These conditions shall be deemed to be met if there is no large sound reflecting objects, such as fences, rocks, bridges or building within 50 m of the centre of the measuring section. The surface of the test track and the dimensions of the test site shall be in accordance with ISO 10844:2014. Until the end of the period indicated in paragraph 12.8. of this Regulation the specifications for the test site may be in accordance with Annex 4 to this Regulation. A central part of at least 10 m radius shall be free of powdery snow, tall grass, loose soil, cinders or the like. There shall be no obstacle, which could affect the sound field within the vicinity of the microphone and no persons shall stand between the microphone and the sound source. The operator carrying out the measurements and any observers attending the measurements shall position themselves so as not to affect the readings of the measuring instruments.

Level areas covered with concrete, asphalt or some other hard material and are highly reflective are suitable; surfaces consisting of earth which has been tamped down shall not be used. The test site shall have at least the dimensions of a rectangle the sides of which shall be 3 m from the outline of the vehicle (excluding handlebars). No significant obstacle such as a person other than the observer and the driver shall be within this rectangle. The vehicle shall be placed within the above-mentioned rectangle in such a way that the measuring microphone is at least one metre from any stone edging.

On the test site, free sound field conditions shall be maintained to within ±1 dB between the sound source placed in the middle of the acceleration section and the microphone. This condition shall be deemed to be met if there are no large sound-reflecting objects such as fences, rocks, bridges or buildings within 50 m of the centre of the acceleration section. The surface of the test track shall conform to the requirements of Annex 5 to this Regulation. No obstacle likely to affect the sound field shall be close to the microphone and no one shall come between the microphone and the sound source. The observer taking the measurements shall take up position so as to avoid influencing the metre readings. The surface of the test track shall conform to the requirements of Annex 5 to this Regulation or to ISO10844:2014. After the end of the period indicated in paragraph 11.8. of this Regulation only ISO 10844:2014 shall be used as reference.

Test site. Service Provider shall provide CTG Personnel with proper test site for maintenance of the Co-location Servers that meets the safety and security requirements.
