Summer Hours of Work. A four (4) day week for maintenance and caretaking employees shall be undertaken for the months of July and August on an optional basis by location. The Board retains the right to designate school locations that are not suitable for a four (4) day week operation.
Summer Hours of Work. From the first Monday in May (daylights savings) through the last week that contains October, a ten (10) hour workday and a four (4) day work week shall commence. The County Engineer/ Public Works Director may, at his/her discretion, grant all or such portion of summer hours as best serves the County's business purposes. When the 4th of July (Independence Day) falls on Friday, Thursday the 3rd shall be the holiday.

Matters on which agreement may be reached include:

  • HOURS OF WORK AND OVERTIME 8.01 A regular workday shall consist of eight hours between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. A regular workweek shall consist of forty (40) hours, comprised of five (5) regular work days, Monday to Friday inclusive.
