Personal Leave means leave provided for:
Personal Law means the law of inheritance and succession as applicable to the individual Unit Holder.
Military caregiver leave means leave taken to care for a covered servicemember with a serious injury or illness.
Medical leave means leave of up to a total of 12 workweeks in a 12-month period because of an employee’s own serious health condition that makes the employee unable to work at all or unable to perform any one or more of the essential functions of the position of that employee. The term “essential functions” is defined in Government Code section 12926. “Medical leave” does not include leave taken for an employee’s pregnancy disability, as defined in (n) below, except as specified below in section 11093(c)(1).
maternity leave means a period during which a woman is absent from work because she is pregnant or has given birth to a child, and at the end of which she has a right to return to work either under the terms of her contract of employment or under Part 8 of the Employment Rights Act 1996;
FMLA Leave means a leave of absence, which the Company is required to extend to an Employee under the provisions of the FMLA.
Annual leave means leave provided by an employer for the pur- pose of taking regularly scheduled work time off with pay. Annual leave does not usually include leave for illness, personal business if in addition to and different than vacation leave, or other paid time off from work. However, if an employer authorizes only one type of leave, covering paid leave for vacation, illness, and any other ex- cused absence from work, such leave will be considered annual leave for purposes of RCW 41.50.150.
Parental leave means leave to bond and care for a newborn child after birth or to bond and care for a child after placement for adoption or xxxxxx care, for a period of up to sixteen (16) weeks after the birth or placement.
Pregnancy Leave means a leave of absence under Article 24.2. “weekly pay", in respect of an employee on a leave of absence referred to in Article 24 means weekly pay at the rate actually received by the employee on the last day of work and also includes any salary increase that is granted after the last day of work to take effect retroactively on or before the last day of work.
Military Leave means leave subject to reemployment rights under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994, as amended from time to time.
paternity leave means a period of absence from work on ordinary paternity leave by virtue of section 80A or 80B of the Employment Rights Act 1996 or on additional paternity leave by virtue of section 80AA or 80BB of that Act;

Personal harassment means any vexatious behaviour in the form of repeated and hostile or unwanted contact, verbal comments, actions or gestures that affects an employee’s dignity or psychological or physical integrity and that results in a harmful work environment for the employee by a person employed by the Employer that is directed at and is offensive to another person employed by the Employer which the first person knew or ought reasonably to have known would be unwelcome.
Family leave means a leave of absence from employment for one (1) of the following reasons:
Intermittent Leave means leave taken in separate blocks of time due to a single qualifying reason.
Approved Leave of Absence means a leave of absence that has been approved by the applicable Participating Company in such a manner as the Board may determine from time to time.
leave means Annual Leave to be granted to the Crew who is an employee of the Transport Supplier as per the stipulations of The Motor Transport Workers Act, 1961 as may be in force from time to time.
income-related employment and support allowance means an income-related allowance under Part 1 of the Welfare Reform Act 2007;
seasonal worker means a worker who has been paid wages by a seasonal employer for work performed only during the normal seasonal work period.
Personal Pay means additional pay granted to save the teacher from loss of substantive pay in respect of permanent post due to revision of pay or to any reduction of such substantive pay otherwise than as a disciplinary measure; and in exceptional circumstances, on other personal considerations.
Personal care means the provision of hands-on services to assist an individual with activities of daily living.
maternity or paternity leave of absence means, for Plan Years beginning after December 31, 1984, an absence from work for any period by reason of the Employee's pregnancy, birth of the Employee's child, placement of a child with the Employee in connection with the adoption of such child, or any absence for the purpose of caring for such child for a period immediately following such birth or placement. For this purpose, Hours of Service shall be credited for the computation period in which the absence from work begins, only if credit therefore is necessary to prevent the Employee from incurring a 1-Year Break in Service, or, in any other case, in the immediately following computation period. The Hours of Service credited for a "maternity or paternity leave of absence" shall be those which would normally have been credited but for such absence, or, in any case in which the Administrator is unable to determine such hours normally credited, eight (8) Hours of Service per day. The total Hours of Service required to be credited for a "maternity or paternity leave of absence" shall not exceed 501.
Casual Worker means a worker engaged by the hour and who may be dismissed or leave the employer's service at any moment without notice and except as hereinafter provided shall not be engaged for more than 30 hours per week in ordinary hours.
