Personal Leave Days definition

Personal Leave Days each Unit Member shall have the opportunity of selecting 11.2 hours of pay at the overtime rate to be paid out per the City’s Personnel Rules or twenty-four (24) hours of personal leave, for all four (4) personal leave days.

  • Personal Leave means leave provided for:

  • Annual leave means leave provided by an employer for the pur- pose of taking regularly scheduled work time off with pay. Annual leave does not usually include leave for illness, personal business if in addition to and different than vacation leave, or other paid time off from work. However, if an employer authorizes only one type of leave, covering paid leave for vacation, illness, and any other ex- cused absence from work, such leave will be considered annual leave for purposes of RCW 41.50.150.

  • maternity leave means a period during which a woman is absent from work because she is pregnant or has given birth to a child, and at the end of which she has a right to return to work either under the terms of her contract of employment or under Part 8 of the Employment Rights Act 1996;

  • paternity leave means a period of absence from work on ordinary paternity leave by virtue of section 80A or 80B of the Employment Rights Act 1996 or on additional paternity leave by virtue of section 80AA or 80BB of that Act;
