Personal Leave Days definition

Personal Leave Days each Unit Member shall have the opportunity of selecting 11.2 hours of pay at the overtime rate to be paid out per the City’s Personnel Rules or twenty-four (24) hours of personal leave, for all four (4) personal leave days.

Examples of Personal Leave Days in a sentence

  • The top-up will not exceed two (2) days and is dependent on having two (2) unused Short-Term Paid Leave Days/Miscellaneous Personal Leave Days in the current year.

  • Each fiscal year (July 1-June 30), each full time bargaining unit member may convert up to four (4) sick leave days per year to Personal Leave Days.

  • A leave request exceeding the limits of or involving activities not covered by the above Personal Leave Days may be submitted to the Superintendent or designee for a decision which will be final and not grievable.
