Seasonal/Casual Employees. A seasonal/casual employee may be hired to meet temporary needs, but may not work more than one hundred (100) days in any calendar year. No seasonal/casual employee may be hired to perform duties that fall within the job description of any employee who has been laid off and remains on the recall list. Prior to hiring any seasonal/casual employees, employees on the recall list who are qualified to perform the seasonal/casual work will be given the first opportunity, based on district seniority, and will be paid the board approved rate for the seasonal/casual work.
Seasonal/Casual Employees. The following are the terms applicable to employees hired by the Company for work at the West Kelowna Production Facility to fill seasonal or temporary personnel requirements.
Seasonal/Casual Employees up to ninety–six dollars ($96) every calendar year. It is understood that unused amounts may be carried over to the next year only if the Employee so desires, and that the allowance covers both regular and insulated (winter) work boots.
