Salary Advances Sample Clauses
A salary-advances clause allows employees to receive a portion of their salary before the regular payday, typically in the form of an advance payment. This clause outlines the conditions under which advances can be requested, such as eligibility criteria, maximum amounts, and repayment terms, which may involve automatic deductions from future paychecks. Its core practical function is to provide financial flexibility for employees facing unexpected expenses, while also ensuring the employer has clear procedures to manage and recover advanced funds.
