The Tenure Promotion clause outlines the criteria and procedures by which an employee, typically in an academic or research setting, may advance from a probationary or non-tenured position to a tenured role. Tenure Promotion. The base salary of each tenure-track faculty member will increase $2,000.00 upon the award of tenure effective the following instructional year.
Tenure Promotion. Upon attainment of tenure, faculty will receive a salary increase to fifty-nine thousand four-hundred twenty-four dollars ($59,424) or an increase of two thousand eight- hundred hundred thirty dollars ($2,830), whichever results in a higher salary, starting with the first academic quarter after tenure is granted (excluding summer.)

Tenure Promotion. AND RANK 2387 11.1—Tenure (Continuing Contract) 2388 A. The following unit members shall be eligible for consideration for continuing contracts:

Full-time faculty members shall be eligible for consideration for continuing contract 2390 if they have completed four (4) to six (6) years of service with a rating of Satisfactory 2391 or Acceptable but Needs Improvement at Eastern Florida State College during a 2392 period not in excess of seven (7) years and meet the requirements listed in the 2393 Tenure Application and TC Handbook in the appendices. Time shall be counted 2394 starting from the beginning of their first Fall Term. Temporary full-time faculty may 2395 use one (1) year of satisfactory temporary full- time faculty service towards the 2396 required years of satisfactory faculty service and requirements listed in the Tenure 2397 Application. Tenure shall not be conferred before the end of a candidate’s fifth (5th) 2398 year in accordance with state statute.
