Roommates. The Resident may be notified prior to move-in the name and contact information of their roommate (and vice-versa). This disclosure is to enable the roommates to get acquainted and to arrange bringing common supplies to the Residence. Roommate changes may be requested for cause at any time. The Manager’s first priority is to try to mediate any dispute between roommates. If a roommate change is required roommates may be moved to different Rooms (subject to availability within the Residence and to the Manager discretion), unless another Agreement can be reached amongst all parties involved.

Roommates. Resident acknowledges Owner has the right to assign a Roommate to any vacant exclusive bed space in the Unit before or during the Term of this Lease Contract without notice. Resident acknowledges that Resident is solely responsible for getting along with the Roommates, even if Owner placed Resident with the Roommates. Resident acknowledges that reasonable cooperation and respect will be afforded to all Roommates, and non-smoker rights prevail. Owner shall not be liable for any personal conflict of Resident with Roommates, Roommates’ guests, licensees, or invitees, or with any other residents that reside at the Community. A conflict of any kind, including, but not limited to, actual or threatened physical injury, between Resident and Roommates, or other residents that reside at the Community, does not constitute grounds for termination of this Lease Contract by Resident.
Roommates. Roommate requests for returning University Residents will be honored whenever possible. However, roommate requests must be mutual. [New freshmen will not have the opportunity to select roommate(s) prior to the start of the Agreement period for occupancy.] If a particular student is preferred as a roommate by a returning Resident, then the Residents should confirm their preferred roommate’s name on the Residential Life housing portal roommate selection option.
Roommates. I understand that the unit rented by me may be occupied by male and/or female tenants. This roommate portion of the waiver is null and void only if a separate male or female-only addendum is signed by both me, and all other parties involved. I will not hold the management responsible if I am unsatisfied with my roommate(s) assignment.

Any available bedroom space within the apartment will be offered to any qualified applicant without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, familial status, handicap, or elderliness in compliance with all applicable federal and state and local Fair Housing laws and Regulations. Roommates. Sunchase Apartments makes every reasonable effort to match roommates based on the roommate profile information provided to us by our residents and applicants. Sunchase Apartments, however, cannot and will not guarantee that any such roommate housing arrangement will ultimately be compatible in every instance. To that end, please note that neither Sunchase Apartments nor its Management will accept responsibility for mediating or responding to internal roommate disputes, unless the factual circumstances concerning the disputes are verifiable and involve or constitute a breach of the subject lease agreement, the community rules and regulations, and/or any applicable provision of local, state or federal law. Before Management can respond appropriately to any such alleged breach, it must receive timely and written notice of the alleged breach. In addition, any alleged breach that relates to unlawful or illegal activity should be reported immediately to the appropriate local, state, or federal law enforcement office, as well as to Management. Until it receives proper and timely written notice of any such alleged breach, and until it is afforded an opportunity to verify that any such alleged breach actually occurred on the property of Sunchase Apartments, neither Sunchase Apartments nor its Management will have the authority or the ability to take any action or to pursue any legal recourse in response to the alleged breach. Roommates. Every Roommate that shall participate in and sign this agreement will need to be identified in this role. Therefore, present the name of each Roommate to the space provided.
Roommates. All residents living in a shared unit or room must participate in the Roommate 101 Program, including the completion of a Roommate Agreement with their roommates(s) and their Community Leader, within six (6) weeks of living in residence. The Roommate 101 Program is meant to initiate dialogue between residents to identify each other’s needs and wants (guests, cleanliness, social events, noise levels et cetera) and help set the foundation for a great roommate relationship. Each resident has the right to a safe and comfortable environment that is conducive to study and sleep. In turn, each resident also has the responsibility to be respectful of the space and to follow the Community Standards. Should any concerns arise with your roommate(s), it is expected that you will make an effort to communicate with each other to find a mutually agreeable resolution. If you encounter difficulties finding a mutual agreement, Community Leaders and Residence Life and Education professional staff can offer assistance with this process. See Schedule F for contact information.

WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES AS TO THE COMPATIBILITY OR CONDUCT OF ANY ROOMMATES PLACED IN THE APARTMENT, AND THE FACT THAT YOU AND YOUR ROOMMATES MAY BE IN CONFLICT WITH EACH OTHER WILL NOT ACT AS GROUNDS TO TERMINATE THIS LEASE OR ENTITLE YOU TO ANY FORM OF COMPENSATION OR OTHER CONSIDERATION.
