Paid Legal Holidays. SECTION 1: Whenever used in this Agreement the term “Holiday” shall mean one (1) of the following days: Jan. 01: (New Year’s Day) Veteran’s Day Jan. 15: (Xxxxxx X. Xxxx Day) Thanksgiving Day President’s Day Nov. 30: (Fftr. Memorial Day) Easter Dec. 24: (Christmas Eve Day) Memorial Day Dec. 25: (Christmas Day) July 04: (Independence Day) Dec. 31: (New Years Eve Day) Labor Day SECTION 2: The Firefighting Division shall observe holidays on the actual holiday date. Holidays shall run according to calendar year.
Paid Legal Holidays. Paid legal holidays shall be provided as follows. Ten-month employees shall earn six (6) paid holidays as designated in the District’s school calendar. Eleven-month or summer school employees who work during July shall earn one (1) additional paid holiday. The holidays shall be: Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Xxx, President’s Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day (1), Memorial Day, and Fourth of July (if working in summer school). Should Memorial Day not fall within the regular school calendar, an alternate day shall be designated by the calendar committee.
Paid Legal Holidays. Paid legal holidays shall be provided as follows: ten month employees six (6). Eleven and twelve month employees, including the bus drivers, bus aides, and school food service workers employed for summer school (7). Additional days may be designated as holidays for all employees of the bargaining unit at the discretion of the Superintendent.
