Spring Break. 8.3.1 All faculty members shall be granted leave from duty with pay for a two-day spring break, scheduled normally for a consecutive Thursday and Friday in the latter half of the month of February.
Spring Break. Upon written authorization from the immediate supervisor, classified personnel may have the option of taking leave without pay during spring break.
Spring Break. The first day of spring break shall be the third Monday in March. School shall reopen on the fourth Monday in March. If the fourth Monday in March is Easter Monday, school shall reopen on the Wednesday following the fourth Monday in March.

Employees who work at Crossroads Elementary which is on a year around school year calendar shall be paid spring break accrual as indicated on the SPPS school year calendar. Spring Break. Nine (9) and ten (10) month employees shall receive time off for Spring Break with no loss of benefits.

The District and the Association agree to the following conditions for all unit members during Spring Break: The Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday following Easter Sunday shall be designated as paid holidays for the classified bargaining unit members. The remaining two (2) days of the Spring recess following Easter Sunday shall be taken as vacation, comp time, PN leave, or leave without pay by the classified staff.
