MINISTRY INITIATIVES COMMITTEE. EWAO-ATEO will be invited to be a participant at the Ministry Initiatives Committee. 45 | P a g e LETTER OF AGREEMENT #9 BETWEEN The Education Workers’ Alliance of Ontario/ Alliance des travailleuses et travailleurs en éducation de l’Ontario (hereinafter called ‘EWAO-ATEO’) AND The Council of Trustees’ Associations (Hereinafter the ‘CTA-CAE’) AND The Crown RE: PROVINCIAL WORKING GROUPHEALTH & SAFETY The parties confirm their intent to continue to participate in the Provincial Working Group - Health and Safety in accordance with the Terms of Reference dated May 25, 2016 including any updates to such Terms of Reference. The purpose of the working group is to consider areas related to health and safety in order to continue to build and strengthen a culture of health and safety mindedness in the education sector. Areas for discussion may include: • Violence prevention training • Central vs. multisite Joint Health and Safety Committees • Standardization of personal protective equipment • Student aggression Where best practices are identified by the committee, those practices will be shared with school boards. 46 | P a g e LETTER OF AGREEMENT #10 BETWEEN The Education Workers’ Alliance of Ontario/ Alliance des travailleuses et travailleurs en éducation de l’Ontario (hereinafter called ‘EWAO-ATEO’) AND The Council of Trustees’ Associations (Hereinafter the ‘CTA-CAE’) AND The Crown RE: VIOLENCE PREVENTION TRAINING The parties are committed to the prevention of violence in the workplace and recognize that staff training is important in achieving this objective. The CTA and the Crown will make available to school boards for employees represented by EWAO- ATEO a training module on the prevention and de-escalation of violence. The training module will be rolled out on a Professional Development day prior to December 31 in the second and subsequent school years of the collective agreement. It is understood that permanent EWAO represented employees who are regularly in contact with students in a school or are assigned to a school shall attend the half day of professional development training and that the day will not be designated as SULP.   • MINISTRY INITIATIVES OSSTF/FEESO education workers will be an active participant in the consultation process at the Ministry Initiatives Committee. Ministry Initiatives Committee shall meet at least quarterly each year to discuss new initiatives, including implications for training, resources. C14.00 PROVINCIAL FEDERATION RELEASE DAYS

  • MINISTRY/SCHOOL BOARD INITIATIVES ETFO will be an active participant in the consultation process to develop a Ministry of Education PPM regarding Ministry/School Board Initiatives.

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour-Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply.

  • Advisory Committees The Board may appoint Advisory Committees to review design review applications, or provide input on other issues of concern to the Board or the Commission. These Advisory Committees include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:

  • JOINT LABOUR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE 18.01 A Joint Labour Management Committee shall be established to attend to those matters which are of mutual interest. To ensure its effectiveness the Committee shall be separate and apart from the grievance procedure.

  • Operating Committee the Consortium’s managing body, composed of representatives of the Manager and the Contractors, pursuant to Annex XI.

  • Advisory Committee The Settling State shall designate an Opioid Settlement Remediation Advisory Committee (the “Advisory Committee”) to provide input and recommendations regarding remediation spending from that Settling State’s Abatement Accounts Fund. A Settling State may elect to use an existing advisory committee or similar entity (created outside of a State-Subdivision Agreement or Allocation Statute); provided, however, the Advisory Committee or similar entity shall meet the following requirements:

  • Management Committee The Members shall act collectively through meetings as a "committee of the whole," which is hereby named the "Management Committee." The Management Committee shall conduct its affairs in accordance with the following provisions and the other provisions of this Agreement:

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • Labour Management Relations Committee 20.01 The parties recognize that a forum for ongoing discussions during the term of the Agreement can promote more harmonious labour relations between them.
