Subsequent School Years. The final selection list for a given school year will not roll over to the next subsequent school year. If the capacity of TCPCS is not sufficient to enroll all prospective students during the next subsequent school year, then a new equitable selection process will be conducted by TCPCS for that year. All prospective students who miss the enrollment deadline will be placed at the bottom of the final selection list in the order in which they are received. They will only receive admittance to TCPCS when all prospective students on the final selection list have been given the option of acceptance and there are still vacancies in the grade level needed. The first year or so of operation, we expect that TCPCS will be held in modular buildings. It is estimated that we will need 10,650 total square feet to house grades K-8 and one main office room based on other Harbor Schools, especially Compass Public Charter School in Meridian, ID. It is our intent to build a facility much the same as Liberty Charter School, located in Nampa, ID, when it is financially feasible to do so. If the capacity of Palouse Prairie School is insufficient to enroll all prospective students during the next subsequent school year, then a new equitable selection process shall be conducted for such school year.
Subsequent School Years. After the school’s first year of operation, the school must determine its calendar and class schedule by March 15 and relay that information to the Ofice of Innovation. The school must also make that information readily available to parents and guardians. After March 15, the school should not shorten the days or hours of operation in a significant way without permission of the Office of Innovation which will only grant such a change for very good reasons and with the condition that parents are properly informed of the change. Subsequent School Years. 1. In the event that the School's official audited student fall count falls between 300 and 330 FTEs, teachers who were employed by the School as teachers during the previous school year would each advance one-half step as of the first payroll period for the school year, to be paid as a contract adjustment over the remaining pay periods of the contract. 2. In the event that the School's official audited student fall count exceeds 330 FTE, teachers who were employed by the School as teachers during the previous school year shall receive an off-schedule payment equal to one-half step 3. In the event that the School's official audited student fall count exceeds 350 FTE, teachers who were employed by the School as teachers prior to 2021-2022 school year shall advance an additional one-half step as of the first payroll period for the school year. This trigger will remain in effect for continued contract years until those staff have ‘made up’ 2 full steps.
Subsequent School Years. LCCPS may in its sole discretion opt not to continue this Agreement and the employment of Leonardos for a future school year. In order to effect such an early termination, LCCPS must notify Leonardos in writing of its intent to terminate at the end of the school year no later than December 31 of the previous year. In such event, Leonardos’ employment will end on June 30 of that year and he will not be entitled to any compensation or benefits thereafter.
