Long Term Disability Plans Clause Samples

The Long Term Disability Plans clause outlines the provisions and benefits available to employees who are unable to work for an extended period due to a qualifying disability. Typically, this clause details eligibility requirements, the percentage of income replacement, waiting periods before benefits begin, and the duration of coverage. By clearly defining the terms and conditions of long-term disability coverage, this clause ensures that employees understand their rights and protections in the event of a prolonged illness or injury, thereby providing financial security and reducing uncertainty for both employees and employers.
