Leave & Public Holidays. 17.1 Employees (other than Casual Employees) covered by this Agreement are entitled to paid annual leave and personal/carer's leave under and subject to the provisions of the NES. An employee working continuous shift work shall be entitled to accrue an additional one (1) week of annual leave in accordance with the NES. All forms of leave accrue progressively during a year of service according to the employees’ Ordinary Hours of work and accumulates year to year. For the avoidance of doubt, an employee’s Ordinary Hours of work are 38 hours per week, as specified at clause 14.1 above.
Leave & Public Holidays. An Employee is entitled to accrue a period of four (4) weeks Annual Leave for each 12 months continuous service with the Employer (less the period of Annual Leave), which is the equivalent of 2.769 hours pay for each completed period of 36 ordinary hours. An Employee working as a continuous shift-worker will be entitled to accrue an additional week of Annual Leave for each 12 months continuous service with the Employer, which is equivalent to 0.692 hours pay for each completed week as a continuous shift-worker. An Employee’s entitlement to Annual Leave accrues progressively during a year of service according to the Employee’s ordinary hours of work and accumulates from year to year. Before going on leave the Employee will be paid:

  • Public Holidays 11.1 The following days are public holidays: New Year's Day, Australia Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Anzac Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, and any other gazetted public holidays in the relevant state or territory in which the work is being performed, other than:

  • LEAVE AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS 38 Annual Leave

  • Annual Leave Exclusive of Public Holidays The period of annual leave prescribed by this clause is exclusive of any public holidays, and if any such holiday falls within an employee’s period of annual leave and is observed on a day which in the case of that employee would have been an ordinary working day, there will be added to the period of annual leave time equivalent to the ordinary time which the employee would have worked if such day had not been a holiday.

  • HOLIDAYS The following days are observed as holidays by state agencies in accordance with section 110.117, F.S.: • New Year’s Day • Birthday of Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xx., third Monday in January • Memorial Day • Independence Day • Labor Day • Veterans’ Day, November 11 • Thanksgiving Day • Friday after Thanksgiving • Christmas Day If any of these holidays falls on Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be observed as a holiday. If any of these holidays falls on Sunday, the following Monday shall be observed as a holiday. Customers may have additional holiday(s) observed specifically by the Customer which will be detailed in the Customer’s order.
