Leave to Attend Court. The City shall grant leave of absence without loss of seniority to an employee who is subpoenaed to serve as a juror or appear as a witness in any Court. The City shall pay such an employee their normal earnings, less payment they received for services as a juror or witness, or earning from other employment, excluding payment for traveling, meals or other expenses shall be assigned to the City. The employee will present proof of service and the amount of pay received.

Leave to Attend Court. Should an employee be placed on Jury Duty or be called as a witness to a court of law, such employee shall be granted the necessary leave of absence with pay of up to one month duration.
