Holy Days. Subject to the approval of the Executive Officer Human Resources, or designate, a member shall be granted up to a maximum of three (3) days annually with pay for officially recognized religious holy days. In addition, a maximum of six (6) days without pay may be granted for officially recognized religious holy days.

The granting of time off for such designated Holy Days shall be at the Exempt Supervisor’s discretion, based on operational needs.

Holy Days. With two (2) weeks’ notice, employees will have the option to substitute up to two (2) of the General Holidays listed in this Collective Agreement for Holy Days generally recognized by followers of the employee’s sincerely held religious beliefs.

  • Pay Days The Employer shall pay salaries and wages every second Thursday in accordance with Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming part of this Agreement. On each pay day each Employee shall be provided with an itemized statement of his/her wages (including hourly rate), overtime and other supplementary pay and deductions. The Employer shall not be held responsible for delays resulting from circumstances beyond the Employer's control.

In the event that the Board of Education or the Superintendent closes the school system to all employees during the Winter Break, bargaining unit members who would otherwise be required to work shall will be placed on paid Administrative Leave and those days will be counted as duty days.

  • Non-Business Days If an Interest Period would otherwise end on a day which is not a Business Day, that Interest Period will instead end on the next Business Day in that calendar month (if there is one) or the preceding Business Day (if there is not).

  • Sick Days Employees will be provided with 6 sick days per calendar year. Sick days are paid at 75% of the employee’s step rate.

  • CALAMITY DAYS A. All bargaining unit members shall be paid their appropriate rate of pay for all days or parts of a day when the school in which they are employed is closed due to an epidemic or other public calamity.
