Section 313, 23 C.F.R. Section 635.410, as amended, and the Steel and Iron Preference provisions of Texas Transportation Code Section 223.045, to the extent applicable. Contractor agrees to provide all certifications required by Customer regarding such programs.   • Teacher “Teacher” shall mean all persons in the appropriate unit employed by the District in a position for which the person must be licensed by the State of Minnesota, but shall not include the superintendent and any other licensed administrators who devote more than fifty (50%) percent of their time to administrative or supervisory duties, confidential employees, supervisory employees, essential employees, and such other employees as excluded by law.

  • Retired Teachers The BOARD may employ and assign retired teachers as day-to-day substi- tutes for no more than one hundred school days during the school year and shall pay such teachers the rate paid to day-to-day substitutes. The BOARD shall compensate such retired teachers in accor- dance with Appendix A-1L. Such retired teachers shall not be eligible for any other benefits provided to bargaining unit employees under this Agreement. The BOARD agrees that the employment and as- signment of retired teachers shall not result in the displacement of any appointed or assigned teacher.
