Teacher Sample Clauses

Teacher. 1. Illness or medical disabilities including the period of time that a doctor certifies a female teacher is unable to work because of pregnancy; 2. Medical or dental care; 3. Exposure to a contagious disease so that their attendance on duty may endanger the health of other teachers or the public.

Teacher. “Teacher” shall mean all persons in the appropriate unit employed by the District in a position for which the person must be licensed by the State of Minnesota, but shall not include the superintendent and any other licensed administrators who devote more than fifty (50%) percent of their time to administrative or supervisory duties, confidential employees, supervisory employees, essential employees, and such other employees as excluded by law.

Teacher. All “professional employees” (except administrators) employed in a position requiring a certificate issued by the State Board of Education.

Teacher. Any employee who is a member of the bargaining unit as defined in the General Article of this agreement.

Teacher. All certificated employees except administrators employed by the Board of Education.

Teacher. A bargaining unit member whose employment is regulated by the Michigan Teachers‟ Tenure Act and includes individuals with teacher certificates assigned to positions for which a certificate is required and individuals who do not possess a teaching certificate but are servicing a probationary period under the Tenure Act.

Teacher. “Teacher” shall mean any member of the appropriate unit but not substitute teachers except for those provisions that expressly state their inclusion.

Teacher certified or licensed person who is employed to serve as a classroom teacher, counselor, librarian, or school nurse or in any instructional capacity by the Ponca City Public Schools.

Teacher. All those who hold a current KSDE teaching license (except administrators) who are covered by the continuing contract law and are employed by the USD 262 Board of Education.
