DIVERSITY BUSINESS GOAL. The Diversity Business and Vendor Contract Compliance Programs shall make every good faith effort to ensure that certified diversity business enterprises in the Cleveland Metropolitan School’s relevant geographic market area shall be afforded the maximum opportunity to compete for contracts, services, and purchases. The general goals for diversity business participation are: 15% service, 20% goods and supplies, and 30% maintenance, construction/repair. Non-diversity vendors will have their diversity business participation counted toward their goal attainment only with minority vendors who are certified and demonstrate previous experience in the respective business classification of the prime contractor. Only direct participation in the subcontract will be counted toward diversity business enterprise goal attainment.
