Female Business Enterprise definition

Female Business Enterprise or "FBE" means a Business Enterprise owned, operated, and controlled by one or more Females who have 51% ownership. The one or more Females must have operational and managerial Control, interest in capital, and earnings commensurate with the percentage of Female ownership. To qualify as a Female Business Enterprise, the Business Enterprise shall be located and doing business in the Cleveland Contracting Market.
Female Business Enterprise. (FBE) means a business concern which is at least 51 percent owned by one or more females, or in the case of a corporation, at least 51 percent of the stock of which is owned by one or more females; and the management and daily business operations of which are controlled by one or more females who own it. A Female is a person of the female gender who is a citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States. A female-owned business is included for goal purposes as a female-owned business, regardless of the ethnicity of the female owner or owners.
Female Business Enterprise means a business entity which is at least fifty-one percent (51%) owned by women who are United States citizens and who also control and operate the business.

For the purpose of this definition, “owned and controlled” means a business which is at least 51% owned and whose management and daily business operations are controlled by one or more females.
