Compensation During Leave of Absence. All leaves of absence shall be without pay. Upon returning, the unit member shall resume the same level on the salary schedule assigned at the time the leave commenced, unless one hundred twenty (120) days of service had been completed during the year of the leave of absence. The only exceptions are leaves of absence associated with service in the Armed Forces of the United States. Such service of not more than five (5) years shall be considered as though teaching services had been performed. Continuation of life insurance will be subject to the carrier’s policy provisions.

Compensation During Leave of Absence. In the event an employee is absent from work due to occupational injury/illness, the employee will be compensated pursuant to NRS Chapter 612 and 617. It is the intent of the District to pay the injured worker whose claim has been recorded and accepted by the District Workers Compensation Insurer and/or claims administrator the difference between full biweekly salary and compensation awarded for the lost wage under NRS provisions. The District shall supplement the injured worker's pay, not to exceed full pay, for a period of illness/injury up to a maximum of seven weeks or 280 hours. Employees receiving full pay for the period of lost wage shall surrender additional or duplicate disability pay within seven (7) working days of receipt.

Compensation During Leave of Absence. There shall be no compensation in any form during the extended leave of absence. The employee may pay for medical fringe benefits and continue to be a member of the insured medical group, providing the insurance carrier agrees.
Compensation During Leave of Absence. During the Absence Period, you will not be entitled to a Base Salary pursuant to Section 3(a) of the Employment Agreement.   • Leave of Absence With respect to the Award, the Company may, in its sole discretion, determine that if you are on leave of absence for any reason you will not be considered as having terminated employment with the Company; however, your rights to the Restricted Stock Units during a leave of absence will be limited to the extent to which those rights were earned or vested when the leave of absence began.

  • Leaves of Absence Article 11 applies for both paid and unpaid leaves. For the purposes of an unpaid 11.25 hour shift, the deduction from pay shall equate to 14.05 hours. For the purposes of an unpaid 7.5 hour shift, the deduction from pay shall equate to 9.375 hours.

  • Outside Activities During Employment Except with the prior written consent of the Company, which shall not be unreasonably withheld, Executive will not, while employed by the Company, undertake or engage in any other employment, occupation or business enterprise that would interfere with Executive’s responsibilities and the performance of Executive’s duties hereunder, except for (i) reasonable time devoted to volunteer services for or on behalf of such religious, educational, non-profit and/or other charitable organization as Executive may wish to serve, (ii) reasonable time devoted to activities in the non-profit and business communities consistent with Executive’s duties, and (iii) such other activities as may be specifically approved by the Company. This restriction shall not, however, preclude Executive from owning less than one percent (1%) of the total outstanding shares of a publicly traded company, or employment or service in any capacity with Affiliates of the Company. As used in this Agreement, “Affiliates” means an entity under common management or control with the Company.
