CLASSIFICATION AND PAY PLAN. (A) The Department of Management Services shall continue to maintain a classification and pay plan applicable to all positions in this unit, designed to attract and retain qualified personnel consistent with applicable law, rules, and regulations.
CLASSIFICATION AND PAY PLAN. If it is believed that the bargaining unit status of a classification has changed, the University or the Union, whichever is proposing the change, shall notify the other. The Employer will promptly notify the Union of all decisions to establish new classifications. If a new classification is a successor title to a classification covered by this Agreement with no substantial change in duties, it shall become part of this bargaining unit. If a new classification contains a significant part of the work done by any classification in this bargaining unit and meets the requirements of State Personnel & Pension Title Section 3-102: “Applicability”, subject to the Board of Regents approved definition for managerial, supervisory and confidential employees, it shall become a part of this bargaining unit. The Union may notify the University within thirty (30) days of receiving notice of a new classification that it believes the classification should be in this bargaining unit. The parties will then meet to review the classification specifications and attempt to resolve the issue. If, within thirty (30) days of such notice, such issues are not resolved in determining the inclusion/exclusion of classifications, the parties shall consider the following factors:
CLASSIFICATION AND PAY PLAN. 28.1 The Employer agrees to review with the Union any and all changes which may be proposed in the classification system or pay plan affecting Union members at least twenty (20) days before implementation.

All employees shall be classified and compensated in accordance with state pay plan rules, classification plan rules and state law unless there is a conflict between this agreement and the pay plan and classification plan rules in which case this agreement shall take precedence. If an employee believes his/her duties have become more complex, the employee may request a review of his/her classification and may file a formal classification appeal. In the event of a classification related grievance, the statutory classification appeal route shall be followed.
CLASSIFICATION AND PAY PLAN. As provided in Title 2 Chapter 18 of the Montana Code Annotated, employees shall be compensated in accordance with the Classification and Pay Plan Rules as promulgated and administered the Department of Administration. Disputes or controversies arising from the operation and application of Classification and Pay Plan rules may be addressed only through the procedures established in Title 2 Chapter 18.
CLASSIFICATION AND PAY PLAN. A. The university agrees to furnish the FOP Lodge 147 on an annual basis (July 1), a complete list of names, titles, classifications and rates of pay of all employees in the bargaining unit and to provide appropriate additions and deletions to said list on a current basis.
