Board of Education Policies. This Agreement shall be incorporated into the Board of Education's Policies.
Board of Education Policies. The Association expressly waives any right to meet and negotiate concerning any Board of Education Policy and agrees that the District’s Board of Education shall be free to promulgate, amend, implement or repeal any Policy, Guideline or Resolution without engaging in negotiations concerning such subjects or matters with the Association so long as such policy does not conflict with any provisions of this Agreement.
Board of Education Policies. Board of Education policy manuals are available in both the Elementary and Jr/Sr High School principals' offices as well as the school libraries and on-line through the district’s website. All employees are expected to know and are responsible for observing the provisions of the policies of the board, administrative regulations, and procedures pertinent to their activities as employees of the board. The policies of the board and administrative regulations and procedures are written to be consistent with the provisions of law, but not necessarily to incorporate the same. All employees are expected to know, and shall be held responsible for observing, all provisions of law pertinent to their activities as employees of the board of education. Calamity Days Employees will be paid their regular rate of pay for the number of calamity days as defined by the Ohio Revised Code. Calamity days will remain at five (5) days. As secretarial, custodial, and cafeteria personnel are most needed on these days, they are to report to work at their normal times unless notified to the contrary by the Superintendent or his/her designee. The Superintendent or his/her designee will notify other employees he/she deems necessary to prepare for reopening school, protecting school property, and functioning during the calamity situation. Compensatory time will be provided for employees scheduled to work during the number of calamity days as defined by the Ohio Revised Code. Compensatory days are to be approved in advance with the building principal or superintendent. Early dismissal or an a.m. delay does not constitute the need for compensatory time.
Board of Education Policies. The written policies of the Board which apply to wages, hours or working conditions shall be a part of this agreement and except as they may be superseded by express provisions of this agreement shall be included herein, but the Board reserves the right to the contrary, to promulgate new policies from time to time but not to conflict with provisions of the agreement.
Board of Education Policies. County Office Board adopted policies shall be available to the Association and its members. The Association shall be notified of new or amended policies and new resolutions adopted by the County Board at the time of adoption or upon subsequent request by the Association.
Board of Education Policies and Practices of the district and its agents which relate to terms and conditions of employment of bargaining unit members may be changed, added to, deleted or otherwise modified only through the voluntary, mutual consent of the parlies in a written and signed Memorandum of Understanding, (Note: The above is not a Maintenance of Staff provision.)
Board of Education Policies. District 39 Board of Education is responsible for establishing and maintaining current, legally accurate policies that direct the operations of the District as well as staff and student expectations. These policies may be found on the District website.
