Non-salaried Employee definition

Non-salaried Employee means an Employee who receives an hourly rate of pay for each hour worked and who receives payment for additional hours worked in accordance with Clause 17;

Non-salaried Employee. Means anyone, including but not limited to a student assistant or volunteer, operating a motor vehicle while on State business.

Non-salaried Employee means any employee who is paid on an hourly basis, and does not receive a set annual salary.

• For a Nonsalaried Participant, such Vested Retirement Benefit shall be computed in the same manner as a Normal Retirement Benefit under Section 4.1(c), except that it shall be based on his years of Nonsalaried Benefit Service and the provisions of the Plan as in effect on the date he ceases to be a Nonsalaried Employee.

• Such lump sum payment(s) shall be in complete satisfaction of the Retirement Benefit earned as a Salaried Employee and/or as a Nonsalaried Employee, whichever is applicable.

• A Member may elect to receive a single sum in the amount of the Actuarial Equivalent value of his total accrued Retirement Benefit earned as a Salaried Employee and/or as a Nonsalaried Employee if such total value is less than or equal to $7,500 ($3,500 prior to January 1, 1997).

• Notwithstanding the foregoing provisions of this Article IV, effective as of January 1, 1997, if the Actuarial Equivalent value of all benefits earned as a Salaried Employee and a Nonsalaried Employee payable under the Plan (including a benefit payable in a form as described in Sections 4.7 or 4.8) is less than or equal to $3,500, such benefit shall be paid in a single sum payment as soon as administratively practicable following the Member's termination of service.

• The benefits under this Plan for the period during which an individual is a Nonsalaried Employee and a Salaried Employee shall be determined independently; provided, however, that no more than 30 years of combined Salaried and Nonsalaried Benefit Service shall be considered in determining total benefits under the Plan.

• Notwithstanding any provisions of the Plan to the contrary, an immediate distribution option shall not be available if the lump sum value of the total benefits earned as a Salaried Employee and as a Nonsalaried Employee as determined below exceeds $7,500.

• Additionalpresence would still be provided by forward operating JHSV, MLP, AFSB and some rotationally deployed combatants.

More Definitions of Non-salaried Employee

Non-salaried Employee means an Employee whose position is subject to automatic wage progression or whose pay is not at a monthly or annual rate.

"Schedule" means a Schedule to this Agreement. 3.16. "Shift" means the continuous period of time from when an Employee starts work to when the Employee finishes work for any rostered shift (excluding unpaid meal breaks). 3.17. "Wage Rate" means: (a) In the case of full time Salaried Employees, the relevant salary set out in the nominated Minimum Wage Rates Schedule (expressed either as an annual amount or as a notional hourly amount); or (b) In the case of Non- salaried Employees, one of the following rates of pay set out in the nominated Minimum Wage Rates Schedule: (i) Ordinary Wage Rate; (ii) Casual Wage Rate; or (iii) Loaded Wage Rate. (c) "Ordinary Wage Rate" means the Wage Rate payable for all Rostered Hours of Work. (d) "Casual Wage Rate" means the Wage Rate paid to Casual Employees for all Rostered Hours of Work, including a casual loading. (e) "Loaded Wage Rate" means the Ordinary Wage Rate, plus a component for pre• payment of annual leave and personal leave entitlements. (f) For the avoidance of doubt, "Wage Rate" excludes Overtime (Clause 18).
