Length of Work Day definition

Length of Work Day. All employees shall follow a daily schedule of seven (7) work hours, the schedule of which will be determined by the Board, except for the Early Intervention Specialists, who shall work eight (8) hours as established by the Board. If, in the opinion of the Board, it would be in the best interest of those employee services for an employee to work either before his regular starting time or after his regular quitting time on a regular basis, the employee's hours may be adjusted. The Early Intervention Specialist’s work schedule may be adjusted by mutual agreement of the affected employee and the administration.

Related to Length of Work Day

  • Period of Work means the time during which an employee is at the disposal of the employer;

  • Scope of Works means the sections of the RFQ detailing the technical requirements of the work to be carried out as existing at the Date of Acceptance of the Quotation and any modification of such Works thereafter directed or the use of which has been permitted by the Superintendent for the purposes of the Contract.

  • Shift Work is defined as the same work performed by two or more employees or two or more successive sets or groups of employees working successive periods.
