Stop Work Order definition

Stop Work Order means the written Notice, delivered in accordance with this Agreement, by which the State may require the Contractor to stop all, or any part, of the Work of this Agreement, for the period set forth in the Stop Work Order. The Stop Work Order shall be specifically identified as such and shall indicate that it is issued pursuant to the Stop Work provision in this Exhibit B.

Stop Work Order is defined in Appendix B. “Term” comprises the Initial Term and any Option Terms.

Stop Work Order means an order issued pursuant to section 6 of this local law.

Examples of Stop Work Order in a sentence

Immediately upon receipt of a Stop Work Order, Supplier will comply with its terms.
At any time Buyer may, in whole or in part, either cancel the Stop Work Order or terminate the work under the Termination article of this Purchase Order.
To the extent the Stop Work Order is canceled or expires, Supplier must immediately resume work.
The Stop Work Order shall be specifically identified as such and shall indicate it is issued under this provision.
If City determines that there is a violation of applicable federal, state or local laws, ordinances, regulations or other requirements, or the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the City and/or City Engineer may issue a Notice of Violation and Demand for Compliance and/or a Stop Work Order.
