Grandparented Provisions For Employees Employed Prior to 26 November 1997 1 Retiring Leave Staff who have at least ten years service and who leave the workforce permanently either by reason of retirement or illness shall be entitled to a payment based on their service. The payment will be the equivalent of twenty six days pay after ten years service, increasing by four days pay for each subsequent complete year of service. An employee who retires due to illness shall receive a minimum of 65 days pay increasing by four days pay for each subsequent complete year of service beyond twenty five years service.
