General Statement. The University shall exercise its authority to determine the standards, qualifications, and criteria so as to fill appointment vacancies in the bargaining unit with the best possible candidates. In furtherance of this aim, the University shall: (a) advertise such appointment vacancies; (b) receive applications and screen candidates for such appointments, and make appointments consistent with such standards, qualifications, and criteria; and (c) commit to an effort to identify and seek qualified women and minority candidates for vacancies and new positions. Procedures:
General Statement. There shall be one (1) evaluation file containing a dated copy of all documents used in the evaluation process, other than evaluation for tenure, promotion, and successive fixed multi-year appointments. When evaluations and other personnel decisions are made, other than for tenure, promotion, and successive fixed multi-year appointments, the only documents which may be used are those contained in that file. Such documents shall be placed in the evaluation file within a reasonable time after receipt by the custodian of the file. The location of the evaluation file will be in the Xxxx/ Director’s office or in the Department Chairperson’s office and employees shall be notified, upon written request, of the location. A copy of the annual evaluation will be maintained in the Division of Human Resources.

General Statement. Peace officers are granted a public trust which requires that they consistently demonstrate the highest degree of integrity. To be worthy of this public trust, and to ensure that their professional conduct is above reproach, members of the peace officer profession must not only conform to a Code of Ethics but must also abide by these Canons of Ethics, Ethical Standards, and Disciplinary Rules which constitute this Code of Professional Conduct and Responsibility as a means of internal regulation. The essence of a profession requires that in addition to prescribing a desired level of performance, it must establish minimum standards of ethical conduct with prescribed rules for internal discipline to ensure compliance. Accordingly, this Code of Professional Conduct and Responsibility is established for the peace officer profession. The rules of professional conduct enumerated in Section IV shall be binding upon all peace officers. The violation of these rules constitutes unprofessional conduct, and shall be grounds for disciplinary action, ranging from verbal reprimand to termination.
General Statement. During the term of this Agreement, the Company shall pay or provide, as the case may be, to Executive the compensation and other benefits and rights set forth in Sections 4, 5 and 6 of this Agreement.
General Statement. The District shall reimburse employees for the cost of reimbursement for loss, damage or destruction of personal motor vehicles on school property or while an employee is in the performance of school business as verified by the principal or supervisor and police report.
General Statement. The District shall reimburse employees of this bargaining unit for the cost of replacement, cleaning, or repair of personal property soiled, damaged, or destroyed as a result of student assault or aggressive behavior that occurs while the employee is engaging in the performance of employee's duties.
General Statement. It is agreed that during the term of this Agreement, neither the Association, its officers or members, shall instigate, call, sanction, condone or participate in any strikes, slowdown, stoppage of work, boycott and picketing or willful interference with production, transportation or distribution, and that there shall be no lockout of employees by the Employer.
General Statement. The Board recognizes that attractive compensation plans which include an adequate salary and employee benefits are necessary to attract and retain well-qualified employees to deliver quality educational services. The movement on the teachers’ salary schedule relative to the granting of experience steps, academic credits and the 14/25 service increments is annually negotiable and subject to funding availability.
General Statement. The probationary procedure as set forth herein shall provide an employee with assistance through consulting, counseling and providing other resources as may be utilized in the improvement of performance relating to the instructional program. If it becomes necessary to place an employee on probation, such action shall be in accordance with the Evaluation Procedure. Such probationary period shall be after October 15 but before February 1 of the same year.
