Day Surgery means a patient who needs the use of a recovery facility for a surgical procedure on a pre-plan basis at the hospital/specialist clinic (but not for overnight stay).
Day Surgery means surgery that is scheduled and performed and is carried out by a Surgeon but not on an inpatient basis. Effective Date of Insurance means the effective date on the Schedule.
