Salary Step System. The Salary Step System contained herein is a five-step salary schedule (Step 1, Step 2, etc.). Movement in this system shall be based on an annual satisfactory performance evaluation as determined by the employee's department head. Eligibility for progression through the steps of the salary schedule shall be based upon at least one full year's satisfactory service at the preceding step. Upon achievement of one full year of service and an overall rating of "Satisfactory" or above on the associated annual performance evaluation, as determined by the employee's department head, the employee shall receive a 5% increase upon movement to the next step in the system (Steps 2-5). Unless advanced step hiring has been approved, every employee entering into represented classes covered by this MOU shall begin his/her service at the first step (Step 1). In cases, where an employee’s performance evaluation is less than satisfactory and, therefore, progression to the next step is denied, the department head shall reevaluate that employee following ninety (90) days additional service and, if such employee’s performance is determined by the department head to have improved to satisfactory or better at the conclusion of such 90-day period, the employee may be eligible to progress to the next step, subject to the full discretion of the department head. If progression is still denied the salary anniversary date will be set to one year from the prior salary anniversary date.

Upon achievement of one full year of service and an overall rating of "Satisfactory" or above on the associated annual performance evaluation, as determined by the employee's department head, the employee shall receive a 5% increase upon movement to the next step in the system (Steps 2-5). Each fifth year thereafter, the employee shall receive a 2.5% increase upon movement to the next step in the system upon eligibility determination by the County Human Resources Director and achievement of an overall rating of "Satisfactory" or above on the immediately preceding associated annual performance evaluation as determined by the employee's department head. In cases where an employee's performance evaluation is less than satisfactory and, therefore, progression to the next step is denied, the department head shall reevaluate that employee following ninety (90) days additional service and, if such employee's performance is determined by the department head to have improved to satisfactory or better at the conclusion of such 90-day period, the employee may be eligible to progress to the next step, subject to the full discretion of the department head. Salary Step System. The District currently has a salary Step System (Appendix C), in which employees receive an additional salary increase at 0-3 years, 4-6 years, 7-9 years, 10-12 years and 13-15 years of service. These increases are in addition to the across-the-board pay.

  • Salary Steps Effective December 13, 2015, notwithstanding LAAC Section 4.92, a new 12-step salary structure will be established as follows:

Senior teacher K3 and K4 salaries were benchmarked to the base salary (excluding the roll-based supplementary component) of a primary U2 and U3 principal respectively.

  • Salary Step Advancement No period of unpaid leave shall be counted toward time served for purposes of salary step advancement. Completion of at least 75% of the assigned work year for the employee in a paid status is a prerequisite to salary advancement.

  • Salary Sacrifice Employees may sacrifice their pre-tax earnings, subject to such arrangements being made for legitimate purposes such as additional superannuation contributions. The amount of salary sacrifice being deducted from pre-tax earnings shall be deducted from gross earnings with each pay period. Any such arrangements must be requested, varied or amended in writing, providing no les than one months notice to the Company. A Salary Sacrifice Request Form is attached as a schedule to this Agreement for this purpose. The Company recommends that employees seek independent financial advice prior to entering into salary sacrifice arrangement. The amount of any salary sacrifice income requested must be a fixed sum, without variation from one pay period to the next. The company shall implement employee requests to commence salary sacrifice arrangements at four (4) times a year, on the first full pay period on or after the 1st July, 1st October, 1st January and 1st April. Where adverse tax and/or superannuation changes occur, the Company or employee may terminate these salary sacrifice arrangements. Where a decision to terminate is made, employees will be given one month’s notice in writing.

  • Salary Schedule The scale of remuneration set out in Schedule "A" shall apply during the term of this Agreement. Any changes in salary rates or the classifications as outlined in Schedule "A" shall not be put into effect until the Union Business Representative has been consulted.

  • Salary Schedules (a) The salary schedules shall be incorporated into this Agreement as Appendix V.

  • SALARY RATES Section 12.1 The following shall apply to full-time employees:

  • Salary Ranges A. The salary ranges for classifications covered by this Agreement shall be those contained in Appendix D.
