Lift Truck Training. There will be formal lift truck training for the plant for users of lift trucks. The basic training will be the training package from the Workers Health and Safety Centre. All workers who operate lift trucks will be trained on this package prior to operating a lift truck. In addition lift truck operators will also receive an annual review, in addition to the basic WH&SC eight (8) hour program.

Lift Truck Training. This will confirm the assurance provided to the Union during negotiations. In order to provide existing employees who are interested in an opportunity to become qualified and certified as lift truck operators the Company will: Provide an opportunity for up to six (6) employees a year to receive training as truck operators; Such training course shall be conducted on three Saturdays at a time to be determined by the Company; Such training shall be done on the employee's own time without pay; Employees who successfully complete the course provided for in this letter will be considered to vacancies requiring the ability to operate lift trucks in accordance with Articles and of the Collective Agreement. Lift Truck Training. Subsequent to the ratification of this Collective Agreement and following completion of the janitorial job postings, the Company will provide any janitors not trained as Lift Truck Drivers with the appropriate training for the position. Any employee who must travel off-site for lift truck certification training will be paid eight (8) hours at the appropriate hourly rate for such off-site training. Letter of Understanding 33 Custodians Both the Company and the Union agree that a clean work environment is needed to ensure health and safety The Company agrees to staff janitorial positions as follows: At the Titan Tool & Die Limited Xxxxxxx Street facility: A steady day shift janitor – eight (8) hours A steady afternoon shift janitor – eight (8) hours A steady midnight shift janitor – eight (8) hours At the Titan Tool & Die Limited Devon Assembly facility: A steady day shift janitor – eight (8) hours An afternoon shift janitor – four (4) hours Should Devon Assembly operate a third shift, there will be a midnight shift janitor – four (4) hours. It is specifically understood that the positions noted above to be four (4) hours per day will be considered as a temporary transfer from employee’s regular classification, by seniority. It is specifically understood by the Company and the Union that these employees’ duties will include, but will not be limited to cleaning the lunchroom and washrooms, and outdoor yard maintenance. It is further understood by the Company and the Union that employees are expected to treat these Company facilities with respect. If the Company schedules an eight (8) hour shift of Saturday overtime consisting of fifteen (15) hourly employees or more, a janitor will be offered a minimum of four (4) hours work. The Company will post the new positions created above within ten (10) working days following ratification of this agreement. If, at any time during this Collective Agreement, by mutual agreement of all parties, the employees in the steady shift positions may work out a system of shift rotation. Letter of Understanding 34 Work Group Transfer During Collective Bargaining in 2006, the Company and Union discussed the issue of workers being transferred from their work groups, for the convenience of the Company.   • Staff Training VENDOR shall ensure that all staff providing direct Services receive continuing education and training as needed or required and that such education and training is documented.

  • First Aid Training a) The Employer will encourage employees to take first-aid and refresher courses and for this purpose will assume the cost of first-aid training. Employees selected by the Employer for first-aid training shall be granted time off without loss of pay.

  • Technical Training 3.1 Party A agrees hereby to provide the following training service to party B and its staffs:

  • Maintenance Training 16.8.1 The Seller will provide maintenance training for the Buyer’s ground personnel as further set forth in Appendix A to this Clause 16. The available courses will be as listed in the Seller’s Customer Services Catalog current at the time of the course. The practical training provided in the frame of maintenance training will be performed on the training devices in use in the Seller’s Training Centers.

  • Required Training For training that is required by the Agency, manager or supervisor, the Agency shall reimburse one hundred percent (100%) of all related necessary and legitimate expenses, including but not limited to tuition, books, travel expenses, travel time, and attendance time. When practical, the Agency will attempt to adjust the employee’s hours if the approved training activity is scheduled during the employee’s normal work hours.

  • Safety Training Pursuant to Missouri Revised Statute Section 292.675, Contractors and subcontractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects must provide a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. Contractors and subcontractors in violation of this provision will forfeit to the public body $2,500 plus $100 a day for each employee who is employed without training. Public bodies and contractors may withhold/assess these penalties from the payment due to those contractors and subcontractors if found to be in non-compliance.

  • Equipment Testing and Inspection 2.1.1 The Interconnection Customer shall test and inspect its Small Generating Facility and Interconnection Facilities prior to interconnection. The Interconnection Customer shall notify the NYISO and the Connecting Transmission Owner of such activities no fewer than five Business Days (or as may be agreed to by the Parties) prior to such testing and inspection. Testing and inspection shall occur on a Business Day. The Connecting Transmission Owner may, at its own expense, send qualified personnel to the Small Generating Facility site to inspect the interconnection and observe the testing. The Interconnection Customer shall provide the NYISO and Connecting Transmission Owner a written test report when such testing and inspection is completed. The Small Generating Facility may not commence parallel operations if the NYISO, in consultation with the Connecting Transmission Owner, finds that the Small Generating Facility has not been installed as agreed upon or may not be operated in a safe and reliable manner.

  • Trainings iv. Appointment of any length involving two (2) or more Consumers who might need to split up to join different trainings, group discussions, etc.

  • Car 7.1 You will be provided you with a car of suitable age, make, model and specification during the continuance of your employment in accordance with the policy laid down by the Company from time to time and the Company shall pay all standing and running costs relating to it (including the cost of fuel for private mileage) but not any taxable benefit arising. You shall comply with all rules laid down by the Company in relation to Company vehicles, notify the Company immediately of any accident involving your car and of any charge brought against you for a motoring offence and, unless otherwise agreed, shall return the car to your place of work forthwith on termination of your employment.

  • Commissioning Commissioning tests of the Interconnection Member’s installed equipment shall be performed pursuant to applicable codes and standards. The Cooperative must be given at least five Business Days written notice, or as otherwise mutually agreed to by the Parties, of the tests and may be present to witness the commissioning tests.
