INTRODUCTION Project Description. The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), in cooperation with Yuba County, City of Marysville, and Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR), proposes to rehabilitate State Route 70 (SR 70), in the City of Marysville, from 0.1 mile south of 14th Street (PM 14.8) to just north of Cemetery Road (PM 15.7) in Yuba County. The project will provide a complete streets aspect, rehabilitation of existing pavement, reduce future traffic congestion, improve operations and safety, and comply with current Caltrans, UPRR, and local agency standards. The project’s proposed improvements are to rehabilitate the existing roadway structural sections, construct a two-way left-turn lane (TWLTL), construct two traffic storage/auxiliary lanes, standard shoulders, and standard sidewalks. These improvements will conform to the recently constructed Xxxxxxxx Slough Bridge project. Due to the frequent structure impacts at both structures (26 impacts in the last 5 years), the project will replace, lengthen and improve vertical clearance at two UPRR structures, the Marysville Underpass and the Binney Junction Underpass. Lowering the profile of existing SR 70 under the Marysville Underpass and the Binney Junction Underpass will be required to meet current vertical clearance standards and provide adequate sight distance. Lengthening the structures will allow for standard shoulders and sidewalks, which will provide complete street elements. These improvements will improve pedestrian and bicyclist safety as they travel along SR 70 through the project limits. The existing east levee north of Binney Junction to Cemetery Road will be relocated to the east to accommodate the proposed project improvements. The intersections of SR 70/E.24th Street and SR 70/16th Street will be signalized, with access from 17th Street being removed. See Attachment A, Location Map, for more information. INTRODUCTION Project Description. The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), in cooperation with the Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC), proposes to construct High Occupancy Vehicle/express lanes (HOV/express lanes) on northbound and southbound Interstate 680 (I-680) from State Route (SR) 84 (Vallecitos Road) in Alameda County to north of Alcosta Boulevard in Contra Costa County. HOV/express lanes are specially designated freeway lanes that are free for eligible HOVs and also give other vehicles, including single-occupant vehicles (SOVs), the option to pay a toll to use the lane. Attachment A shows the location of the proposed project, which extends for approximately 9 miles along I-680 from post mile (PM) R10.6 to R21.9 in Alameda County and from PM R0.0 to R1.1 in Contra Costa County. The new HOV/express lanes would pass in or near the cities of Pleasanton, Dublin, and San Xxxxx, and the community of Sunol. The project is anticipated to be constructed in two phases. Phase 1 would construct the southbound HOV/express lane and all project-related improvements in the median (both northbound and southbound). Phase 2 would construct the northbound HOV/express lane. Caltrans, as assigned by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), is the lead agency under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Caltrans is the lead agency under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).   • Project Description In two or three brief sentences, provide a concise description of your exhibition. Include the subject matter, type of objects to be included (paintings, sculpture, manuscripts, etc.), those responsible for organizing the exhibition, and catalogue author(s).

  • Construction Progress Schedule A schedule indicating proposed activity sequences and durations, milestone dates for receipt and approval of pertinent information, preparation, submittal, and processing of Shop Drawings and Samples, delivery of materials or equipment requiring long-lead time procurement, and proposed date(s) of Material Completion and Occupancy and Final Completion. The schedule will be developed to represent the sixteen or seventeen CSI Specification Divisions. It shall have a minimum number of activities as required to adequately represent to Owner the complete scope of work and define the Project’s critical path and associated activities. If the Project is to be phased, then each individual Phase should be identified from start through completion of the overall Project and should be individually scheduled and described, including any Owner’s occupancy requirements and showing portions of the Project having occupancy priority. The format of the schedule will have dependencies indicated on a monthly grid identifying milestone dates such as construction start, phase construction, structural top out, dry-in, rough-in completion, metal stud and drywall completion, equipment installation, systems operational, Material Completion and Occupancy Date, final inspection dates, Punchlist, and Final Completion date.

  • Site Description 2.5.1 If reasonably requested by the A/E as necessary for the Project, the Owner shall furnish a legal description and a certified land survey of the Site, giving, as applicable, grades and lines of streets, alleys, pavements and adjoining property; rights-of-way, restrictions, easements, encroachments, zoning, deed restrictions, boundaries and contours of the Site; locations, dimensions, and complete data pertaining to existing buildings, other improvements, and trees; and full information concerning available service and utility lines, both public and private, above and below grade, including inverts and depths.

  • Project Plan Development of Project Plan Upon the Authorized User’s request, the Contractor must develop a Project Plan. This Project Plan may include Implementation personnel, installation timeframes, escalation procedures and an acceptance plan as appropriate for the Services requested. Specific requirements of the plan will be defined in the RFQ. In response to the RFQ, the Contractor must agree to furnish all labor and supervision necessary to successfully perform Services procured from this Lot. Materials and Supplies Required to Complete Implementation In the event that there are items required to complete an Implementation, the Contractor may request the items be added to its Contract if the items meet the scope of the Contract. Negotiation of Final Project Plan If the Authorized User chooses to require a full Project Plan, the State further reserves the right for Authorized Users to negotiate the final Project Plan with the apparent RFQ awardee. Such negotiation must not substantively change the scope of the RFQ plan, but can alter timeframes or other incidental factors of the final Project Plan. The Authorized User will provide the Contractor a minimum of five (5) business days’ notice of the final negotiation date. The Authorized User reserves the right to move to the next responsible and responsive bidder if Contractor negotiations are unsuccessful.

  • System Description The wet detention basin is designed to trap 80% of sediment in runoff and maintain pre-development downstream peak flows. The basin has two forebays (smaller ponds) located at the low end of two grass xxxxxx. In addition to runoff conveyance, the grass xxxxxx also allow infiltration and filtering of pollutants, especially from smaller storms. The forebays are each 4 feet deep. They are connected to the main pool by 18 and 24-inch metal pipes that outlet onto a rock chute. The forebays will trap coarse sediments in runoff, such as road sands, thus reducing maintenance of the main basin. The main pool will trap the finer suspended sediment. To do this, the pond size, water level and outlet structures must be maintained as specified in this Agreement (see Figures 1, 2 and 3). The main basin receives runoff from a 67.1 acre drainage area (41.2 acres within the subdivision and 25.9 acres off-site drainage coming from the east). During high rainfall or snow melt events, the water level will temporarily rise and slowly drain down to the elevation of the control structure. The water level is controlled by a 12-inch concrete pipe extending through the berm in the northwest corner of the basin (see Figures 1 and 3). On the face of the 12-inch pipe, there is metal plate with a 3-inch drilled hole (orifice) with stone in front of it. This orifice controls the water level and causes the pond to temporarily rise during runoff events. Washed stone (1- 2” diameter) is placed in front of the orifice to prevent clogging. High flows may enter the grated concrete riser or flow over the rock lined emergency spillway. “As-built” construction drawings of the basin, showing actual dimensions, elevations, outlet structures, etc. will be recorded as an addendum(s) to this agreement within 60 days after [Municipality Name] accepts verification of construction from the project engineer.

  • Service Description The Parties will provide Common Channel Signaling (CCS) to one another via Signaling System 7 (SS7) network Interconnection, in accordance with prevailing industry standards. Use of a third party provider of SS7 trunks is permitted.
