Local Transportation. Transportation costs incurred by Consultant while in travel status will be reimbursed as follows:
Local Transportation. No daily travel allowance shall be payable to any local resident Employee on any project located inside the Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley. A daily travel allowance, pursuant to the following schedule, shall be paid to any local resident Employee who uses his/her own vehicle to travel daily from his/her residence to a project located outside of the Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley. A local resident shall be defined as any Employee who resides within one hundred (100) road kilometres of the project or, where ferry travel is involved, within seventy-five (75) minutes travel time, including ferry travel and road kilometres. > First forty (40) road kilometres, each way, each day not applicable > All additional road kilometres, each way, each day: > 2016 Fifty-four cents ($0.54) per road kilometer > 2017 Fifty-four cents ($0.54) per road kilometer > 2018 As per Canada Revenue Agency The "per road kilometre" amount payable is subject to annual adjustments throughout the duration of the Agreement. More specifically, the maximum allowable tax-free rate for mileage expense reimbursement as published annually by the Canada Revenue Agency shall be paid.

Local Transportation. Section When work is available for employees at their normal starting place or depot, and they are directed to work out of other depots, plants or designated areas, they shall be paid from their normal starting place or depot, or be paid travelling time at the regular rate, plus travelling allowance of fifteen cents (1 per mile or at the employee's option, provided with return transportation from their regular starting place or depot.

By means of commercially available ground transportation vehicles, Astrotech shall provide transportation and delivery of the crated Payload or Payload elements, spacecraft propellants, and ground support equipment, within the Astrotech Facility and to and from the Astrotech Florida facilities and designated facilities at the Xxxxxxx Space Center (KSC) or Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS).

For lots of reasons, rental cars should be rarely used unless in the traveler’s judgment the rental car is necessary due to the circumstances and business purposes of the travel. Fees and taxes are often very high for rental cars at airports and train stations. For example, it might more sense when multiple Quara travelers are on the same trip, flights, etc. to share a rent a car rather than all to take other modes of transportation individually. The travelers should collaborate and communicate with each other to determine the best and most feasible modes of local transportation – especially to and from the arrival and departure airports. Otherwise, travelers are encouraged to take public transportation and less expensive car services such as Uber, Lyft, Juno and Via in the locales that offer those options.
Local Transportation. The Community will make scheduled transportation services to local shopping centers and banks as may be reasonably determined to be needed by the Community from time to time. Based on availability and distance, the Community may provide other transportation services subject to an additional charge.
