HOUSEKEEPING AND SAFETY. Subcontractor shall remove all refuse, waste and debris produced by its operation. Refuse shall not be permitted to accumulate to the extent that it interferes with free access to the work site or creates a safety concern. Avoidance of safety hazard through good housekeeping is a material part of Subcontractor’s obligations. In the event of Subcontractor’s failure or refusal to meet these requirements, refuse may be removed by Contractor and charged against the accounts of Subcontractor, provided that Subcontractor has received prior written notice. In the event of the existence of a safety hazard, Contractor may proceed as above without prior notice. Subcontractor shall take all necessary safety precautions pertaining to its work and the conduct thereof, including but not limited to compliance with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, regulations and orders issued by a public authority, whether federal, state, local or other, the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act, the Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act, and any safety measures requested by Contractor. Subcontractor shall at all times be responsible for providing a safe worksite and responsible for the safety of all personnel, equipment and materials within Subcontractor’s care, custody or control. Subcontractor shall promptly provide Contractor with written notice of any safety hazard or violation found anywhere on or adjacent to the construction site. Subcontractors will provide all equipment and comply with safety codes for fall protection systems either for scaffolds, safety nets, or personal fall protection systems. Subcontractors that relate to fall protection must have their fall protection plan on file with Chervenell Construction Company on site. Please submit to our office.

HOUSEKEEPING AND SAFETY. The Lessee shall not carry on or perform or suffer or permit to be carried on or performed or suffered in the Building any action that will interfere with or prevent the Lessor from keeping the Building in a sanitary, tidy and orderly condition in accordance with all Laws, the Lessor’s building safety standards and the Land Use Rules. In the event the Lessee fails to comply with the foregoing provisions after reasonable notice , the Lessor may rectify the situation and collect the expense, including a reasonable administration fee, for such work from the Lessee as Additional Rent.

HOUSEKEEPING AND SAFETY. The "Parties" recognise the importance of effective housekeeping and maintaining a safe workplace that is conducive to improved productivity. (Please see Appendix E) Employees will keep their work areas clean and tidy, remove potential hazards and report all safety concerns. Employees will be provided with appropriate equipment and time to maintain their areas to the required standard. Employees will be provided with, and required to use PPE in designated areas.

  • Fire Safety 9.5.1 Residents found in violation of the following fire safety stipulations not only put themselves at risk but also jeopardizes the safety of the entire community.

  • Cleanliness and Safety; Entry Resident agrees to maintain the assigned bedroom space, the apartment and the common areas of the Property in a clean, safe and sanitary condition, to exercise all due care in the use of same, and to cooperate fully with the Property pest control program as requested. Resident will be responsible for the cost of treatment for bedbugs and similar pests to the extent Owner’s pest control vendor reasonably determines that an infestation has originated within Resident’s assigned space and during Resident’s occupancy. Resident will place all trash in provided receptacles and will be responsible for the cost of cleaning the interior or exterior of the apartment if not kept in sanitary condition. When outdoor temperatures are below 40 degrees Fahrenheit, Resident will keep the apartment’s heat turned on to prevent frozen or burst pipes, including during vacations. When outdoor temperatures exceed 85 degrees Fahrenheit, Resident will keep the apartment’s air conditioning turned on and set to a reasonable temperature to prevent mold or mildew growth, including during vacations. Owner and its agents, employees and contractors may enter any apartment and bedroom space to perform routine maintenance, inspections, showings and other ordinary functions, provided that Owner will provide advance notice to residents of an apartment before such entry. Owner reserves the right to enter an apartment and any bedroom space without prior notice (including a passkey and/or disarming the alarm or other means of entry if locks have been changed) for emergency maintenance or repair purposes, or when there is reasonable cause to believe that a situation exists that could cause danger to life, safety, health or property. Owner may confiscate any item deemed to cause a danger and is under no obligation to pay compensation for or to return such items.

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction.

Xxxxxx shall prepare and submit under separate cover from the Work Plan, a Health and Safety Plan consistent with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations. The Health and Safety Plan shall be submitted to the Department in the form of one electronic copy on compact disk (in .pdf format). Xxxxxx agrees that the Health and Safety Plan is submitted to the Department only for informational purposes.
