Holidays - Entitlement. A. Employees, except as provided in Section 9.4 shall be entitled to have the following holidays off with pay when such holidays fall on a workday in their basic workweek: New Year's Day (January 1) Washington's Birthday (third Monday in February) Memorial Day (last Monday in May) Independence Day (July 4) Labor Day (first Monday in September) Veterans' Day (November 11) Thanksgiving Day (fourth Thursday in November) The Friday following Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day (December 25) Floating Holidays (3) When any one of these holidays falls on either a Saturday or a Sunday, the Company shall elect to schedule the holiday for either the Friday before the holiday or the Monday following the holiday.

Holidays - Entitlement. A. Employees will normally notify their supervisor four (4) weeks in advance to schedule a floating holiday, unless a shorter notice period is approved by the Department Head.
Holidays - Entitlement. 1. Recognizing that the Employer operates every day of the year and that it is not possible for all employees to be off the same day, the Employer will, consistent with the needs of the patient population, distribute holidays off on an equitable basis within job classification after consultations with full time and part time employees as to preference and considering the needs of the hospital.
Holidays - Entitlement. 14.1. The Executive shall be entitled to twenty five (25) paid days per full year. The Company holiday year runs from 1st June to 31st May. If the Executive starts working during the holiday year or if this contract ends before the end of a holiday year the holiday entitlement will be calculated on a pro rata basis. Holidays must be taken at times convenient to the Company and sufficient notice of intention to take holiday must be given. The Executive shall take their annual vacation by the end of the holiday year and take at least two consecutive weeks together. However a limited number of five (5) days not taken during that year may be transferred to the following holiday year. These days have to be taken before the 30th September.

  • Vacation During the Employment Period, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation in accordance with the most favorable plans, policies, programs and practices of the Company and its affiliated companies as in effect for the Executive at any time during the 120-day period immediately preceding the Effective Date or, if more favorable to the Executive, as in effect generally at any time thereafter with respect to other peer executives of the Company and its affiliated companies.
