  • Holiday means the twenty-four (24) hour period commencing at 0001 hours of a day designated as a paid holiday in this Agreement.

  • Defined Benefit Plan Fraction means a fraction, the numerator of which is the projected annual benefit (determined as of the close of the relevant Plan Year) of the Participant under all Defined Benefit Plans maintained by one or more Related Companies, and the denominator of which is the lesser of (i) the product of 1.25 multiplied by the dollar limitation in effect under Section 415(b)(1)(A) of the Code for the Plan Year, or (ii) the product of 1.4 multiplied by the amount which may be taken into account under Section 415(b)(1)(B) of the Code with respect to the Participant for the Plan Year.

  • General Holiday means every Sunday and any other day which is a

  • Vacation rental means the lease, sublease, or other rental of residential property for a period of fewer than ninety days, except that it does not include rental of residential property on a weekly or monthly basis pursuant to Chapter 40 of this title, the South Carolina Residential Landlord and Tenant Act.

  • Bank Holiday means any day other than a Saturday or Sunday on which banks in the City of London are not open for business;

  • Statutory Holiday means New Year’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day; and

  • Paid sick leave – means paid leave under the Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act.

  • Bereavement Leave means "a leave of absence granted to an employee upon a death occurring in the employee's Immediate Family.”

  • Principal Relocation Payment A payment from any Loan Group to REMIC 1 Regular Interests other than those of their corresponding Loan Group as provided in the Preliminary Statement. Principal Relocation Payments shall be made of principal allocations comprising the Principal Amount from a Loan Group.

  • Sick Leave means the period of time an employee is absent from work with or without pay, by virtue of sickness, quarantine, or accident, or out-of-town medical/dental referrals for which compensation is not payable under the Worker's Compensation Act.

  • Military caregiver leave means leave taken to care for a covered servicemember with a serious injury or illness.

  • Special compensation means payment to an adult foster care facility to ensure the provision of a specialized program in addition to the basic payment for adult foster care. Special compensation does not include payment received directly from the Medicaid program for personal care services for a resident, or payment received under the supplemental security income program.

  • Weekday means Monday – Friday.

  • Current Sick Leave means those days of sick leave for the current contract year, which leave is granted at the rate of one day of sick leave per month worked, or major part thereof.

  • Final compensation of a member means:

  • Defined Benefit Fraction means a fraction, the numerator of which is the sum of the Member's Projected Annual Benefits under all qualified defined benefit plans (whether or not terminated) maintained by the Employer, and the denominator of which is the lesser of (i) one hundred twenty-five percent (125%) of the dollar limitation determined for the Limitation Year under sections 415(b)(1)(A) and (d) of the Code and (ii) one hundred forty percent (140%) of the Highest Average Compensation, including any adjustments under section 415(b)(5) of the Code, both in accordance with subsection 3.30.020(e)(10) below. Notwithstanding the above, if the Member was a Member as of the first day of the first Limitation Year beginning after December 31,1986 in one (1) or more qualified defined benefit plans maintained by the Employer which were in existence on May 6, 1986, the denominator of this fraction shall not be less than one hundred twenty-five percent (125%) of the sum of the Annual Benefits under such plans which the Member had accrued as of the close of the last Limitation Year beginning before January 1, 1987, disregarding any changes in the terms and conditions of the plans after May 5, 1986. The preceding sentence applies only if the qualified defined benefit plans individually and in the aggregate satisfied the requirements of Code section 415 for all Limitation Years beginning before January 1, 1987.

  • Unscheduled Holiday means a day that is not a Settlement Business Day and the market was not aware of such fact (by means of a public announcement or by reference to other publicly available information) until a time later than 9:00 a.m. local time in the principal financial centre of the Specified Currency two Settlement Business Days prior to the relevant Rate Fixing Date. As soon as the Calculation Agent is aware of such an Unscheduled Holiday, they shall inform the Issuer promptly.

  • Occupation Date means the date upon which occupation of the Unit is tendered to the Purchaser, provided that such date shall not be prior to the issuing of the Occupancy Certificate for the Section by the relevant Authority and provided that such date shall not be prior the date the electricity is to be connected to the Section and subject to compliance of the provisions of clause 9.1 to the satisfaction of the Seller;
