Holidays and Absences. It is important you provide sufficient notice of absences or holidays to allow the centre to plan for staffing ratios and meals accordingly. In cases of sickness or unplanned absence ensure the centre is advised prior to the booked start time for the day, there will be no reduction in fees charged in this instance. Children may be entitled to 3 weeks’ annual leave at a discount of 50% of the net amount payable by the parent/guardian. This ensures your child's space will be held for you on your return from holiday. A holiday request form must be completed prior to taking leave. The 3-week entitlement to annual leave is calculated on the anniversary of the start date of enrolment; entitlements do not roll over to the next year. A week of annual leave entitlement refers to a normal week’s booking. For periods of extended leave, please discuss with the Centre Manager and agree terms in writing. If you fail to do so a full fee will be charged. The Centre is closed on Statutory Holidays. For Statutory Holidays there will be no reduction in fees charged, normal weekly fees continue to apply. Three Week Absence Rule Ministry of Education regulations mean childcare providers are unable to claim funding if your child is absent for 3 consecutive weeks without a valid reason. We regret that a permanently booked space will be cancelled after 3 weeks if no other arrangements have been approved by the Centre Manager.
Holidays and Absences. The Centre will be open from 8am until 6 pm, Monday to Friday, 50 weeks a year, excluding Bank Holidays, the week between Christmas and New Year and 5 staff development days, to be planned well in advance. There are no visible reductions during these times. Fees are calculated taking these periods into consideration. To children in fulltime childcare, there is an entitlement of two weeks free holidays per year.
Holidays and Absences. Parents should notify the day nursery management of individual holidays early on (ideally 2 weeks in advance). Individual holidays will not result in any reduction in fees. Leave at short notice (illness, other absences) should be communicated to the day nursery management as soon as possible (no later than by 8:00 in the morning of the day concerned) so that the day nursery management can plan accordingly. If a child attends the xxxxx day nursery again after a prolonged absence, the above-mentioned persons should be informed at least two days in advance to make it easier for the child to join again.
