Grievance Representatives. The UFF shall annually furnish to the University a list of all persons authorized to act as grievance representatives and shall update the list as needed. The UFF grievance representative shall have the responsibility to meet all classes, office hours, and other duties and responsibilities incidental to the assigned workload. Some of these activities are scheduled to be performed at particular times. Such representative shall have the right during times outside of those hours scheduled for these activities to investigate, consult, and prepare grievance presentations and attend grievance hearings and meetings. However, such investigations and consultations will not interfere with the normal operations of the University. Should any grievance hearings or meetings necessitate rescheduling of assigned duties, the representative may, with the approval of the appropriate administrator, arrange for the fulfillment of such duties. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld.
Grievance Representatives. Within 30 working days after the execution of this Agreement, the Union shall furnish the Xxxxxxx with a list of all persons authorized to act as the Chapter and UPI Local Grievance Representatives and shall update the list as changes occur. The designated Chapter Grievance Representative shall be an employee of the University and shall have the responsibility to meet classes, office hours, and other assigned duties and responsibilities. If the responsibilities of the Chapter Grievance Representative require rescheduling of the representative's University duties, the representative may, with the approval of the Xxxxxxx, arrange for the rescheduling of such duties or their coverage by colleagues. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. The provisions of Article 15.4. shall also apply to the UPI Local Grievance Representative if he or she is an employee of the University.
Grievance Representatives. Each Association may designate one employee or his/her alternate in each area or district to function as its grievance representative for the region in which he/she is employed. Each grievance representative shall have the authority to determine the validity of grievances and to process them through the appropriate steps of the grievance procedure.
Grievance Representatives. Grievant and Grievance Representatives shall not receive overtime pay to engage in grievance activities. However, grievance meetings at Step Three shall be held at a time agreeable to all parties. Grievance Representatives. After the ratification of the contract, the members in the Officers’ bargaining unit shall elect two grievance representatives, and the members in the Supervisors’ bargaining unit shall elect one grievance representative. This member will be appointed by the Lodge President, upon agreement with the majority of the members. Any bargaining unit member who files a grievance under Article 9 may be represented by a Grievance Representative who will be granted time off during regularly scheduled work hours without loss of pay to represent the member in grievance meetings. Grievance Representatives shall have the right to represent all bargaining unit members at all levels of the grievance procedure as indicated under the provisions of Article 9. No Grievance Representatives will be transferred from their then-assigned Watch because of their status as Grievance Representatives. Grievance Representatives shall be allowed a maximum of two (2) working days off each calendar year from regular police work, with pay, to attend meetings and/or training related to their role as Grievance Representative. Approval for attendance at these functions shall not be unreasonably withheld.

The UWF will furnish to the UFF a list of all persons authorized to act as grievance representatives for the purposes of resolving grievances in accordance with this grievance procedure by second (2nd) full week of September each calendar year will update the list as needed.
Grievance Representatives. Nurses may be selected by the 16 Association to act as Association representatives in the grievance process. A list of the 17 trained nurses selected as grievance representatives and the names of other 18 Association representatives who are trained to represent Registered Nurses shall be 19 identified in writing to the Hospital by the Association. Grievance Representatives. In the event that a Union officer is required to meet with City representatives to discuss a grievance, the Union officer may be granted leave with pay. If the City requires the attendance of the employee who is grieving, that employee may also be granted leave with pay.
