Association Business. The internal business of the Association shall be conducted by full-time and regularly scheduled part-time employees during their non-duty hours.
Association Business. Duly authorized representatives of the Association shall be permitted to transact official business of the Association with Members or official representatives of the University on University property provided such business shall not interfere with or interrupt normal University operations.

If circumstances permit, upon application by the Association, the Employer shall grant leave without pay to employees elected or appointed to represent the Association at Association conventions, seminars, arbitration or Labour Board proceedings in order that they may carry out their duties on behalf of the Association.

Elected officers and appointed committee chairpersons of the Association shall be free to conduct Association business, including processing grievances and conducting official meetings, on college property in accordance with Section 7.6 below pertaining to the "Use of Facilities." Association activities will be conducted so as not to interfere with the intended educational process.
Association Business. Eighteen (18) days per school year shall be available to the R.E.A. to conduct Association business. The first twelve (12) of these days are without cost to the teacher or the Association. The remaining six (6) of these days (if used) will require the Association to reimburse the Board of Education the cost of the substitute teacher. No more than five (5) days should be used by one employee.

The Association shall have the right to transact business on school property at all reasonable times, provided that such business shall not interfere with or interrupt normal school operations. Association representatives shall suffer no intervention, undue delays, or harassment by the employer's representatives while representing an employee or while on Association business.

An authorized representative of the Association shall be permitted to transact official Association business on school property at reasonable times not interfering with the educational process or District duties of the employee. The representative shall notify the school principal of his/her campus presence.
