Granting of Tenure. The granting of tenure to a non-tenured faculty member who is completing the third consecutive year of full-time employment shall be governed by the following:
Granting of Tenure. (a) By the end of six years of continuous full-time, or equivalent part-time service in a tenure-earning position in the University, a Faculty employee shall be nominated for tenure or given notice that further employment will not be offered, in the affected position with reason(s) why the employee was not nominated for tenure.
Granting of Tenure. Tenure shall be granted when there is consistent evidence of meeting the required academic performance standard, demonstrated professional growth, and the promise of future development. The criteria for tenure shall be in accordance with Articles 6.10.2 and 6.10.3 are:
Granting of Tenure. 10.2.1 On or before forty (40) school days prior to the expiration of the probationary term of the members of the teaching staff, the Superintendent shall make a written report to the Board of Education recommending for appointment on tenure, from lists and reports furnished by the building principals, those legally certificated teachers who have been found competent, efficient and satisfactory. If found competent, efficient, satisfactory, and legally certificated, the teacher shall be recommended by the Superintendent to the Board of Education for appointment on tenure.
Granting of Tenure. The appropriate Vice President shall submit not later than ninety (90) days before the end of the school year or term during the school year in which tenure would otherwise be conferred a letter of recommendation to the President for each non-tenured faculty member who has completed three (3) consecutive years of service for either granting of tenure status, the extension of one additional year of non-tenure status, or for dismissal. The letter of recommendation shall include the decision of the majority of the tenured members of the department regarding the granting of tenure to the faculty member and the recommendations of the appropriate Division Chairperson. The President shall then forward his recommendation to the Board of Trustees for final action subject to the provisions of 110 ILCS 805/3B-2, of the Illinois Public Community College Act.

  • Records Created as Part of Consultant’s Performance All reports, data, maps, models, charts, studies, surveys, photographs, memoranda, plans, studies, specifications, records, files, or any other documents or materials, in electronic or any other form, that Consultant prepares or obtains pursuant to this Agreement and that relate to the matters covered hereunder shall be the property of the City. Consultant hereby agrees to deliver those documents to the City at any time upon demand of the City. It is understood and agreed that the documents and other materials, including but not limited to those described above, prepared pursuant to this Agreement are prepared specifically for the City and are not necessarily suitable for any future or other use. Failure by Consultant to deliver these documents to the City within the time period specified by the City shall be a material breach of this Agreement. City and Consultant agree that, until final approval by City, all data, plans, specifications, reports and other documents are preliminary drafts not kept by the City in the ordinary course of business and will not be disclosed to third parties without prior written consent of both parties.

  • PROCEEDINGS OF DIRECTORS 104. The Directors may meet together (either within or outside the Cayman Islands) for the despatch of business, adjourn, and otherwise regulate their meetings and proceedings as they think fit. Questions arising at any meeting shall be decided by a majority of votes. In case of an equality of votes the chair shall have a second or casting vote. A Director xxx, and a Secretary or assistant Secretary on the requisition of a Director shall, at any time summon a meeting of the Directors.
