Extra Hours of Work. Extra hours shall be made available equitably to regular full and part-time employees who have volunteered consistent with the operational needs of the Employer.
Extra Hours of Work. Prior to the use of substitutes in the Building and Grounds department an employee in a lower classification and/or a less hour position shall be given the opportunity to work in a higher classification and/or hours position in the following order:

Extra Hours of Work a. Extra hours of work shall be accomplished by the Bargaining Unit Member as directed by the University. A Bargaining Unit Member may decline the extra hours of work based on an individual personal hardship. An effort will be made to share extra hours of work among the Bargaining Unit Members within a shop and within the appropriate classification description who have the ability and skills to accomplish the required work.
Extra Hours of Work. The Employer will make a good faith effort to attempt to assign extra shifts on a fair and equitable basis. Prior to the approval of extra shifts, the Employer will consider the operational needs of the Medical Center.
Extra Hours of Work. 2 Extra hours of work over an employee’s contact hours including overtime assignments shall be 3 distributed in accordance with the seniority provisions. 5 Extra hours of work will be offered to the most senior qualified employee in the individual job 6 classification at the work site first, then will be offered outside of the building by seniority. If 7 the most senior employee refused the work, it will be offered to the next senior, etc. If no one 8 agrees to do the work, the least senior may be assigned.
