Education Council. The College shall establish and implement an Education Council as required by Xxxx 22, the College and Institute Amendment Act, 1994, which shall amend the College and Institute Act. The parties recognize that should future legislation amend the College and Institute Act, with respect to the Education Council, the College will comply with those amendments.

The duties of the Council, or its members, as established by the Board, shall include, but are not necessarily limited to (a) the promotion of this Settlement Agreement among Eligible Schools; (b) recommendation to the Board of guidelines for allocation among Eligible Schools of donated units of software that are subject to caps under Paragraph IV.6 herein; (c) the receipt and attempted resolution of concerns or complaints by Eligible Schools regarding implementation of the terms of this Settlement Agreement; (d) consultation with Microsoft regarding the preparation of training materials, curriculum materials, and training on curriculum integration; (e) review of fees charged by Microsoft Authorized Refurbishers for machines purchased by Eligible Schools, and consultation with Microsoft regarding the participation by any refurbisher in the Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher program; and (f) fundraising for the Foundation. The Council shall, on an annual basis, consult with the Board concerning the determination of minimum specifications for the computers to be made available during the following year under Paragraph IV.5 herein, pursuant to the procedures set forth in that Paragraph.

  • Special Education Teachers Whenever any Elementary Special Education class to which a student(s) is(are) added as a result of the distribution of students from the class of an absent Elementary Special Education teacher, Article 8-7 shall be in effect. In addition, whenever the class size of the receiving Special Education teacher exceeds the class size maxim mandated by Special Education class size law and/or regulation, the Xxxxxxxx Formula in AAA Case No. 1139-0696- 85, February 21, 1986, shall be used to calculate the compensation which said teacher shall receive as follows: The rate of pay for said teacher for teaching said additional students shall be computed by multiplying the teacher’s daily gross compensation by a fraction in which the denominator is twenty-six (26) and the numerator is the number of children taught in excess of Article 8-1.1 Item 3 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the parties.

  • School Board Any reference to School Board or District in this Agreement shall mean the District and/or its designated officials.

  • Training and Education SECTION 1 – Law Enforcement Supervisors’ Training The state and the PBA recognize the importance of supervisor training programs to develop management skills in our law enforcement supervisors. The state will make a reasonable effort to continue existing training programs in law enforcement techniques and to develop new programs in performance review techniques, supervisory skills, and managerial techniques.

  • Professional Development Committee There shall be a Professional Development Committee composed of at least two (2) representatives of the Association and an equal number of representatives from the Hospital. Each party may have alternates to replace a member from time to time.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • Board of Education a) If the unit member and the Association are not satisfied with the decision at Stage 2, the Grievance Committee will file an appeal in writing with the Board of Education within fifteen (15) school days after receiving the decision at Stage 2. The official grievance record maintained by the Superintendent of Schools shall be available for the use of the Board of Education.
