School Improvement or “SI” means the system set forth pursuant to Section 1008.33, F.S., in which the state provides support and interventions of escalating intensity to low-performing schools in order to improve and sustain performance of all student subgroups, and holds districts accountable for improving the academic achievement of all students and turning around low- performing schools.

Examples of School Improvement in a sentence

  • Such contracting is conditioned upon the School developing a management agreement with the educational service provider that meets the conditions in Exhibit C to this Contract; provided requirements of a School Improvement Grant or other federal grant shall control.

  • Schools which fall under the State of Florida Differentiated Accountability Plan will comply with all requirements as they relate to the School Improvement Plan.

  • Failure to serve on the School Improvement Committee shall not be considered in any evaluation.
