Chosen Method for Obtaining Interpreters. Within thirty (30) days after execution of this Agreement, KFHPW will have contracts with two (2) or more sign language interpreter services agencies for the provision of on-site Qualified Interpreters and will provide copies of those contracts to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. KFHPW will contract with a sufficient number of agencies with sufficient interpreter capacity to ensure that Qualified Interpreters are available to work in each of the counties in which there are KFHPW Locations. If the agencies used by KFHPW change during the term of this Agreement, KFHPW shall notify the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the change within thirty (30) days.

Chosen Method for Obtaining Interpreters. Within thirty (30) days of the effective date of this Agreement, the Hospital shall provide to the United States a signed copy of a contract into which it has entered with one or more reputable interpreter(s) and/or interpreter agency(ies) to provide qualified sign language and oral interpreters at t he request of the Hospital. Each such contract, at a minimum, will require the interpreter or agency to maintain a response time of one (1) hour or less (with a fifteen (15) minute grace period, when needed) in at least eighty (80) percent of non-scheduled incidents within any six (6) month period (excluding any incident when t he assessment calls for an interp xxxxx to be pro vided at a lat er t ime), measured fro m the time beginning fifteen (15) minutes after it is determined that an interpreter is necessary for effective communication with a Patient or Companion who is deaf or hard of hearing or who has a speech impairment; provided, however, during the first year this Agreement is in effect, each such contract may allow a response time of no more than two (2) hours in those circumstances where the interpreter or the only available interpreter from an agency is performing interpreter services elsewhere at the time of the request.
Chosen Method for Obtaining Interpreters. In March 2016, after the United States requested information from the facility as part of its investigation, the facility voluntarily contacted the Deaf-Hearing Communication Centre, Inc., and made contractual arrangements to receive qualified on site interpreters as well as VRI services at the facility’s request. Xxxxxxxxx acknowledges that the contractual arrangements are currently in place and will remain in place for the duration of this Agreement.

Each such contract will require the interpreter or agency to maintain a response time of two hours or less in 100% of non-scheduled incidents within any six (6) month period (excluding any incident when the assessment calls for an interpreter to be provided at a later time), measured from the time beginning 10 minutes after it is determined that an interpreter is necessary for effective communication with a Patient or Companion who is deaf or hard of hearing or who has a speech impairment.

If the names of the interpreter services used by Highline Medical Center changes during the term of this Agreement, Highline Medical Center shall notify the U.S. Attorney's Office of the change within thirty (30) days. The Hospital will require that the SLI Service maintains a response time of one (1) hour in at least eighty percent (80%) of non-scheduled incidents within any six (6) month period measured from the time beginning fifteen (15) minutes after it is determined that an interpreter is necessary for effective communication with a Patient or Companion who is deaf or hard of hearing. In one hundred percent (100%) of non scheduled incidents, the SLI Service’s response time will be two (2) hours or less. If the SLI Service does not provide, for reasons other than force majeure events, service meeting the requirements of this section twice within any six (6) month period, then Xxxxx shall enter into a contract with a new SLI Service, which contract shall incorporate the requirements of this section. D.

Chosen Method for Obtaining Interpreters. Throughout the duration of this Agreement, Xxxxxxxx will establish and maintain a list of qualified interpreters or interpreter agencies that employ or arrange the services of qualified interpreters to ensure that qualified interpreter services are available. Elmhurst will establish internal procedures for ordering interpreting services that are consistent with the interpreter or interpreter agencies’ procedure. Xxxxxxxx will consider an order for interpreting services to be complete only after receiving written confirmation from the interpreting service that an interpreter will be provided at the time and date requested. All written correspondence with interpreting services will be filed in the resident’s medical chart, as well as the Auxiliary Aid and Service Log discussed in Paragraph 21.
Chosen Method for Obtaining Interpreters. Within thirty (30) days after execution of this Agreement, SRMC will identify one or more interpreter services and will make appropriate arrangements with said services to provide qualified on site interpreters as well as VRI services at the request of SRMC. SRMC will establish internal procedures for ordering interpreting services that is consistent with the interpreter or interpreter agencies' procedures. At a minimum, all of SRMC's requests for interpreters, including the time, date and location, will be confirmed in writing at the time of the request. If the hospital receives verbal confirmation or speaks with the vendor regarding the hospital's request for an interpreter, this information will be documented in the Interpreter's Log. SRMC will retain a copy of all written correspondence with interpreting services. Additionally, for the duration of this Agreement, SRMC will file a copy of its written correspondence with interpreters and interpreting agencies in the Auxiliary Aid and Service Log discussed in paragraph 30. Provision of Interpreters in a Timely Manner.
Chosen Method for Obtaining Interpreters. Within 30 days after execution of this Agreement, AMH will identify one or more interpreter services for each hospital facility and will make appropriate arrangements with said services to provide qualified on site interpreters as well as VRI services at the request of the hospital facility.
