Casual Status. 23.1 Employees hired to work on a casual status basis will be called and/or scheduled to work in a manner mutually agreeable to the Hospital and the employee. The casual status employee will not be assured of availability of work on a regular or continuing basis nor are they required to work if called, but they must work three (3) shifts per calendar quarter to maintain their casual status, if offered. Casual status employees shall also work a minimum of one (1) shift of one of three (3) holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Casual status employees will be eligible for holiday pay (if worked), salary increments based on two thousand eighty (2,080) hours and will receive uniform allowance after six (6) months of employment, if applicable, on the same basis as part-time employees. Casual employees must work their minimum shifts to be eligible for the uniform allowance. Regularly scheduled part-time employees will have first choice of additional hours (including leave of absence hours), up to eighty (80) hours per pay period, by seniority, before any casual status employee.

  • Travel Status Employees eligible for relocation expenses pursuant to Section 1 shall be considered to be in travel status up to a maximum of ninety (90) calendar days and shall be allowed standard travel expenses, by mutual agreement of the Appointing Authority and the employee, either to: 1) be lodged at their new work station and to return to their original work station once a week; or 2) travel between their original work station and their new work station on a daily basis.   • Professional Status The Superintendent affirms that he is not under contract with any other board of education covering any part or all of the term provided in this contract. Throughout the contract term, he will hold a valid and appropriate certificate to act as a superintendent of schools in the State of Nebraska which he will register and maintain on file in the school district’s central administrative office. This contract shall not be valid and the Board will not compensate the Superintendent for any service performed prior to the date that he registers his certificate.
