Travel Status Leave. (a) An employee who is required to travel outside his or her headquarters area on government business, as these expressions are defined by the Employer, and is away from his or her permanent residence for forty (40) nights during a fiscal year shall be granted fifteen (15) hours off with pay. The employee shall be credited with an additional seven decimal five (7.5) hours off for each additional twenty (20) nights that the employee is away from his or her permanent residence to a maximum of sixty (60) nights.

Travel Status Leave. (a) An employee who is required to travel outside the employee’s headquarters area on FNHA business, as these expressions are defined by the Employer, and is away from their permanent residence for twenty (20) nights during a fiscal year shall be granted seven decimal five (7.5) hours of time off with pay. The employee shall be credited seven decimal five (7.5) hours of additional time off with pay for each additional twenty (20) nights that the employee is away from the employee’s permanent residence, to a maximum of one hundred (100) additional nights.
Travel Status Leave. An employee who is required to travel outside his or her normal workplace on government business, as these expressions are defined by the Agency, and is away from his or her permanent residence for forty (40) nights during a fiscal year shall be granted seven decimal five (7.5) or eight (8) hours (in accordance with the employee’s Hours of Work Code) off with pay. The employee shall be credited with an additional seven decimal five (7.5) or eight (8) hours off (in accordance with the employee’s Hours of Work Code) for each additional twenty (20) nights that the employee is away from his or her permanent residence to a maximum of eighty (80) nights. The maximum number of hours off earned under this clause shall not exceed thirty-seven decimal five (37.5) or forty (40) (in accordance with the employee’s Hours of Work Code) in a fiscal year and shall accumulate as compensatory leave with pay. This leave with pay is deemed to be compensatory leave and is subject to article The provisions of this clause do not apply when the employee travels in connection with courses, training sessions, professional conferences and seminars.

  • Return from Leave of Absence (a) Before a Nurse may return to work from a leave granted under Article 9.00, she or he must provide a minimum of four (4) weeks written notice of the specific date of his or her return to work, or such shorter time as mutually agreed.

  • Union Leave of Absence An employee on an unpaid Union leave of absence shall have her wages, benefits and seniority continued by the Employer, and the Union agrees to reimburse the Employer for the costs of such wages and benefits. Employees requesting leave under this article will provide the Employer with as much advance notice as possible of the dates of the leave. Requests for Maternity Leave will be made as soon as practicable, and normally no later than one month before the intended start-date of the leave.

  • MATERNITY LEAVE OF ABSENCE A Maternity Leave of Absence will be granted, subject to the following:

  • General Leave of Absence a) Leave of absence without pay may be granted to employees for valid reasons as set out by Company policy.

  • Special maternity leave (a) Where the pregnancy of an employee not then on maternity leave terminates after 28 weeks other than by the birth of a living child, then the employee may take unpaid special maternity leave of such periods as a registered medical practitioner certifies as necessary.

  • Parental Leave of Absence A. A female unit member may use any or all accumulated leave during pre- and post-natal care for that period of time she is temporarily disabled, as determined by the unit member and her physician.
