Postings. The posting will include the projected end date of the position. A casual employee who bids into any vacancy pursuant to Article 17.03(A) and (B) above will have her status changed to regular for the duration of the time worked in the temporary position and will then revert to casual status. Internal regular employees will return to their previous status and external candidates will return to their pre-employment status. Employees in these positions will be given a minimum of ten (10) calendar days’ notice of any change to the projected end date of the position.

Postings. (a) Vacancies of a regular nature that are to be filled, for positions in the bargaining unit, shall be posted within 30 days. Such postings shall be throughout the Public Service unless limited by the Deputy Minister of the BC Public Service Agency or their designate or as specified in the Memorandum of Understanding #8—Priority Placement and Employment Equity.
Postings. (a) Vacancies for all positions in the bargaining unit shall be posted internally on the Union bulletin boards for seven (7) calendar days prior to the job being advertised externally. This may be varied only with the prior written agreement of the Bargaining Unit Chairperson or designate. Job postings shall be done subject to this Agreement. Qualified internal applicants shall be given first consideration for filling positions.

The Joint Committee may recommend to the College Board the appropriate area of competition for each classification or group of classifications.
